His ‘n Hers Valentines Outfits.

It isn’t often that Adrian and I are in pictures together. Usually one of us is behind the camera trying to get the perfect shot.

Last week Ashford Designer Outlet invited us down to shop for our outfits to wear on Valentines Day. I’ll stop here and just mention that we aren’t the conventional ‘lets go out for dinner after you’ve given me flowers’ kind of couple and much prefer a night out or burger in bed. However, for a cocktails and dancing kinda night you still need to look good.. right?

I bet you’re wondering what we brought, right? I’ll start with the absolute mens outlet game changer. All Saints stock leather jackets year round and Adrian had been eyeing up a biker style for ages, so when we found this one for £138 (way under half of the full retail price of £350).. it was pretty much love at first sight. I don’t think he’s actually taken it off yet! He also picked up a few basic t-shirts like this grey one from Abercrombie & Fitch, because with a plain tee you wear almost every day - it makes sense to invest in quality.

My outfit consists of a couple of pieces from the outlet too. The first being the Carvela bag which is my first ‘bigger’ tote in a while. I desperately wanted a black tote for everyday when I need to lug around a MacBook or just more than usual. This bag is so simple and understated and only cost £59.99 so I honestly couldn’t say no. I also picked up the Levi’s tee for £17 (reduced from £25) because being a monochrome lover - it made perfect sense and unfortunately, I fell in love with the most beautiful slim leg cream jeans but the smallest size left was a 27″ and I had to let go of my dream jeans. Yes, I am still mourning this. I definitely think I’ll go back for the denim because its so timeless and outlet prices rival the high street like nothing else!

Ashford Designer Outlet has several well known brands from AllSaints and French Connection to Guess and Hugo Boss (as well as plenty of home, sports and gifting shops too). They have an extension happening soon to include many more well known brands which I’m definitely excited for! We browsed for a good few hours and there is also local independent coffee shop, Lost Sheep Coffee, which is where we all know I ended up! The outlet is located a short walk from Ashford train station and surprisingly quick to get to from central London. We hopped on the fast train from St Pancras which only took 40 minutes making it the same distance as Oxford Street to our house. But with much better prices, obviously.

I’m honestly an outlet convert and we’ve already been planning to go back in a couple of months once the new season is in full swing! I’m in shock that the full price of Adrian’s jacket (£350) is the amount we spent across the entire day and we picked up around 20+ items between us! If you fancy a browse everything we brought, check the weekly vlog below. We picked up so many bargain, totalling less than the full retail price of Adrians jacket. Craziness.
