Another beauty post!? Oh, go on then!
Some of my favourite posts to read are make-up related but it seems to be the one thing I rarely post myself. After my Garnier review went down well, I thought it was time to share a little more make-up in a style true to me. Expect natural looks, lots of hair products but still a silly amount of fashion and travel - beauty is just going to pop up every now and then!
So for today I’ve got some products from Eyeko to share with you, a brand that came onto my radar a couple of years ago but I never really gave the products a chance until now.. and I honestly don’t know why it took me so long.
Eyeko is a fairly new brand to my make-up bag with a whole range of products recently hitting my mailbox. I’ve tried and tested them for a few weeks now and think its safe to let you know my thoughts. After all, I needed to give them a proper run for their money before discussing, right!?
My eye was initially caught by the packaging, specifically of the lash alert mascara. We all know by now that I’m a caffeine addict so adding some to my makeup bag? Sure winner. Mascara is usually a tricky product for me given that I have naturally stumpy eyelashes but I’m always willing to give new products a try. This one has claims of waking up tired eyes and enhancing volume - just what a gal needs in the AM. That, and the gorgeous smokey crayon to make me look intentionally dark eyed when I’m sleep deprived after weeks of working flat out.
Other products that I’ve tested include the brow gel, liquid eyeliner pen and specially formulated mascara makeup wipes. All of which help to polish off a look as well as removing without the added strain of rubbing your eyes almost clean off your face in a bid to get the last bit of mascara (yep, we’ve all been there).
I’ll be honest, all of them caught my eye and you really cant go wrong with caffeine that helps lashes. Basically, give me all the energy through coffee and other things!? I would definitely recommend checking out Eyeko if you’re looking for a new brand to love or just curious about the Lash Alert mascara. I promise its worth a buy..
I really need longer and thicker lashes so will definitely check them out!
