5 Changes You Can Expect To See On Copper Garden.

All of my social media platforms have been a constant chatter of ‘Copper 2.0’. I decided that it was about time that I sat down to write about the changes so you know exactly what is happening in my world. A few things have already been creeping through but for the most part - I’ve kept pretty quiet and worked hard behind the scenes.

Before I get into all of the changes, you need to know that my life is a little spontaneous. I don’t stay in one place for too long and change is a constant reoccurrence. Whether thats my location, likes, dislikes or even the direction of my brand.

Change One | Making YouTube More Style/Travel Focused.
My YouTube channel has been a little neglected for the last 18 months and it honestly fills me with guilt and sadness. YouTube was the first stepping stone of Copper Garden and one that I want to keep as a key focus. I have a huge passion for style, travelling, beauty and general lifestyle content. I’m thinking more outside the box with content ideas and with a few coming trips and seasonal bits - theres a fair bit of content coming your way. You might have seen the odd style video creeping in already and they are going to form regular series’. There is around four styles that I am testing depending on their popularity so if you like something - let me know!

Change Two | Goodbye Weekly Vlogs.
Over the last year, weekly vlogs have documented every aspect of my life. For a while now there has been upload issues almost every week so it feels like the universe telling me to give them a time out. Don’t fret though - my instagram stories will be a lot more regular and I will still have the odd vlog popping up here and there on my channel.

Change Three | Instagram. All Of It.
Gone are the days of caring about posting three images a day because from now on - quality trumps quantity. I’d much rather have my Instagram represent Copper Garden in all of its glory than upload half hearted imagery just to make sure I was posting something every few hours. My grid has switched up a notch with higher quality edits, a more well rounded appearance and ultimately - its the most ‘me’ its ever been. Adrian is 100% to thank for this one because he has stepped in as a ‘creative director’ as we like to call it. He’s spending hours agonising over making sure everything looks more professional and it shows.

Change Four | Making The Blog More Editorial.
This website isn’t just a hobby of mine anymore, its my career and one that I take very seriously. I built this brand from scratch with no real intention of it ever being more than somewhere that I shared my favourite outfits. Its grown up with me through my early adulting years (as much as I try and avoid them) so I want it to mature too. We’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes so that the imagery is now much more considered and the writing is more structured than just a string of outfit posts. I want this website to be somewhere that you come for a good read about anything and everything - not just somewhere you head for a product link for a jacket you liked.

Change Five | Setting A Proper Routine and Schedule.
And by this, I mean uploading on the same days each week so you know when to check up for new content. I am a procrastination queen and anything that could possibly distract me from working - will. I’m setting myself regular working hours each day to keep my focus.. although obviously with blogging, its pretty much a 24/7 affair. I have been focusing on a few tips and tricks to keep motivated while working from home (all will be on the site in due time).

From now on, my schedule is as follows:
- This Website: 7PM (GMT) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
- YouTube Videos: 7PM (GMT) on Wednesdays and Sundays. Vlogs will be sporadically uploaded on Fridays at the same time.

I guess what you could say is that my entire brand is switching it up a gear. I am trying to become more than ‘just another blogger’. There is going to be serious quality control on everything. I am working until the early hours every day trying to make sure that everything looks as good as possible. This blog has been like my lovechild for years and its time it grew up a little.

These changes excite me way more than you could understand.
I hope the new content will excite you just as much.
