This season is already one of my favourites ever. LFW seems to be a little quieter and it makes the whole thing more enjoyable. I love the hustle and bustle when the streets are packed but the fact we could move a little easier is always appreciated. Day two was all about the late afternoon events for me after a boozy brunch date with my friends.
Now for day two I decided to rock the teddy bear trend. A style which made its appearance last Autumn but this year it looks set to be one of the biggest trends. Teddy fur coats have already creeped onto the high street with so many style variations to choose from. I’m actually so pleased there was a comeback because what could be better than literally wearing a teddy bear around for the day? Its like walking around in a blanket which I am totally okay with.
This particular jacket is a great oversized aviator fit which looks great teamed with a simple outfit. The hardware is all rose gold and the tan colour just adds to the look. The faux fur will look great once its ‘well loved’ too because it just adds to the teddy style. I’m keeping my legs bare for as long as possible in this velvet skirt but the jacket does also look great with skinny jeans and a simple vest/tee. Essentially you can be as minimal and plain as you like because the jacket is the statement.
My boots are actually a pretty big statement piece too, lets be honest. The chunky style is great with skirts and dresses because it makes legs appear long and lean but also giving a little edge to an outfit. They came in at only £32 and despite being faux leather they are great quality so should last through multiple wears and at least until Spring. You all seemed to love them on my Instagram account so I couldn’t resist sharing them again asap.
