The Sportwear Edit.

And finding summer gymwear can be even harder. Being back in the UK has given an extra sweat to my workouts on the odd hot day. My once daily swim in the sea has turned into a humid run around the town and the workout wardrobe has had to adjust too - because who wants to run in a bikini!? Unfortunately I can’t get to the gym as much as I’d like until I’m settled in my new home. I’m fully enjoying at-home workouts and going for a daily run to keep my body healthy. If you want to keep up, I do have a fitness Instagram account to track my fitness journey and as soon as I’m in the new place, my gym membership will be renewed (obviously). Anyway - for this post I thought I’d share two of my latest outfits for a variety of weather conditions - because we all know how temperamental the British Summer can be..

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know its pretty much my go-to gym style. I like my gym wardrobe to be quite mix’n’match, monochrome and simple because it makes everything easier. I can own less items but put together more looks - yep, thinking about my outfits while I sweat. Typical. Adidas actually make my favourite leggings that are not only squat proof but also breathable. The striped waistband is my favourite detail because if I decide to brave just a crop or tie up my vest then it almost draws attention away from my stomach and focuses it there. The vest is another breathable piece so it keeps you cool with a soft mesh, great for a sweaty workout . I know you’ll have noticed the trainers by now too and let me tell you, they are the comfiest thing ever. I’ve had my eyes on the nude NMDs since they first came out and despite being stylish enough for everyday, they are really comfortable for working out too. The second outfit is all Nike and I’m obsessed with the pro shorts. They fit like a dream and make my bum look pretty great. These are kind of ambitious for me as I tend to cover up a little for a workout but on a hot day - they’re my go to. I decided to style them with this mesh crop (complete with zip up pockets for your keys/iphone). Its a pretty classic look but definitely one that I need more confidence to rock inside the gym. Isn’t it funny how I’ll wear it to run around a warm country but not back home inside a gym!? adidas gymwear, summer workout style, copper gardennike fitness blogger, copper garden,

I’ve been getting back into fitness over these past two or so months, and this weekend started spin classes, and one thing that has been on my mind was actually to start now building up my gym/sportstwear wardrobe - so this post came around at a perfect time. Definitely going to have a look at some of your suggestions to hopefully try and start picking up my currently very boring gymwear collection!
