Is It Time To Give Up On Summer?

Yep, midway through August and I’m throwing it out there because our Summer seems to be over. Or at least over for the most part because I’ve worn slightly more clothing and found myself snuggled in jumpers of an evening.

Basically - it just isn’t boiling hot and beautiful any more.

This outfit is coming to you from South Africa because lil old me was so prepared that I got some transitional content a few months early. I say prepared, its actually just because we were there in “Winter” so some days it got quite chilly. They seemed quite silly to post mid-summer which is why I’ve held off until now..

My legs are going to remain bare for as long as possible so being cosy in different ways is a must. I love nothing more than a cosy knit which sees me through each season. This woollen jumper is pretty timeless and being black - it just goes with everything.

 

As I’m trying to stay barelegged for as long as possible, I couldn’t resist keeping the shorts but adding a cosy knit for some warmth. Its pretty much my go-to recently with the weather being so temperamental.
