Tied Up Stripes and Accidental Bad Etiquette.

Why hello there, it seems like ages since I wrote a post but I’m back with a new Barcelona style guide, written on a new MacBook after the drama this week. Officially kicking off part two of #CopperTravels to Barcelona!

You’d be surprised at just how many pictures I took while we were there, topping almost 250 on my phone alone and barely any of my outfits. Its difficult not to get engulfed in culture when you’re in one of the most beautiful cities so I’ve already planned to go back with Adrian in the Autumn time - it would look so beautiful when the leaves are falling, right?!

So for my outfit on this particular day of sight seeing, I opted for something simple. I’ll tell you first that most of the older buildings won’t let you in with anything above your knee showing. I was rejected from the Cathedral of Barcelona for having ‘too much leg’ alongside many other girls. The cathedral was still beautiful from the outside and I saved 7euros by not going in!

I’m sure you’re checking out the shorts by now and loving the style, because they’ve got that nautical, tied ups style that everyones loving right now. They’ve been making quite a solid appearance on my Instagram account too, which is a no-brainer given my love for stripes. I have to admit that they aren’t a style I would usually go. The flattering fit is everything when you’re surrounded by tapas and sangria (ohhhhh how I miss the sangria).

And to make them even better - they only cost £20 in Pretty Little Thing and you can get 20% off when you use the code ‘EC18LY95’.. thank me later.
