Hello there, its been a while hasn’t it? After gallivanting around Croatia playing photographer on the boats, I’m finally back in the UK for a little while. I don’t know how long I’ll be here or where the next adventure is taking us.. but we’ll get into that another time. For right now I want to share the first of a few Croatian posts, beginning with an outfit (of course).
This post comes to you from the beautiful town of Starigrad, situated on the island of Hvar and boasting the most gorgeous lavender in Europe (at least, thats what I think). When we parked up the boats one afternoon, Adrian and I decided to wander up through the back streets. Lined with pale stone and red rooftops, the streets all have the same charm no matter which part of Croatia you stumble upon - and the palm trees which definitely didn’t grow by themselves.
The outfit that I’m wearing is partly from River Islands petite range. I’ve never really shopped in the petite section because I always assume its for 5ft3 and under tiny girls but actually - the sizing isn’t too dissimilar. It just means that when I buy tops and trousers, the length is perfect and I’m not rolling things up!
This top is a lovely summer appropriate addition to my wardrobe with crochet detailing around the bardot neckline. I love how feminine it is and whether you’re in a hot country or not, its the kind of top you could wear anywhere. I thought it would be cutest (and coolest) teamed with the crochet hemmed shorts and some simple tan sandals - which you’ve all seen a million times!
