The pictures for this post are slightly irrelevant, but I’ve never shared them and needed a little something.. lol.
Its about time I gave you a travel update isn’t it? How crazy is it to think that I left for South Africa exactly three months ago, and right now I’m sat at my Dads house wishing I was back at the beach. As its the three month ‘anniversary’ of leaving England, it seemed like the right time to catch you up on where we’re heading next and a few things we’re thinking about for the rest of 2017.. as a very chatty, very ramble travel update (but whats new there..).
So obviously for right now, I’m back in the UK on my own. I’ve had a few questions in the vlogs about why Adrian isn’t coming with me but its quite difficult to explain. Basically my visa was only for three months and as it runs out on 17th May, I had no choice but to come home. We’re actually only apart for three weeks until we meet again in Croatia.. which is our next stop together and it seemed silly for Adrian to fly to the UK with me then on to Croatia as its almost double the price so we decided it was best to have the distance for a little while and catch up with our friends and get some work done before we meet up again in June. I told you it was a bit confusing!
Now let me explain a little.. we’re both going out to Croatia to work for MedSailors which is the company Adrian worked for when we originally met last summer in Greece. We decided it would be good to earn some more money while we travel because as great as Copper Garden is, we needed something a little more stable for a while to build back up the savings account. My role is going to be photographer with a little social media so essentially what I do for my blog, but for MedSailors. Adrian is gong to be a Skipper like last year so we will see each other but not 24/7 so the vlogs will probably be a little different (or on pause) for a few weeks.. It just depends what happens but I’ll keep you updated on that one. I’ve never been to Croatia so its going to be a nice change of scenery as well as a good way to improve on my photography - you can bet theres going to be some amazing content coming especially as we’re on yachts for at least 8 weeks and thats pretty much living the dream, right!?
However as a little curveball, I’m also off to Malaga next weekend for a secret project which is with a few other influencers. I’ve never been to Malaga before so I’m excited to explore a new place and get back into the European sunshine for a bit.. its been so long! I can’t really speak about that one too much yet but there should be content on here by the end of next week so thats something to look forward to.
Out of curiosity, are you enjoying the travel content and travel updates? I’ve had a little switch and brought the fashion content back a bit now because I realised I was pounding you with scenery but rest assured the outfit posts will be the most regular occurrence again from now on.. with some travel thrown in for good measure! I love all of your comments on the vlogs though, its so nice that we’ve made you guys feel like part of the journey..
Looking forward to seeing Malaga, I am going there soon!

Oooh, how exciting! It’s lovely to hear an update from you and to look forward to your next few travels! I hope you have a lovely time in Malaga and your work in Croatia sounds like it’s going to be absolutely amazing! I’m definitely going to have to check out MedSailors - I’m always looking for ways I can travel and work!

Definitely have a look. It isn’t really a ‘travel job’ though as most of the positions need you to be able to sail (yacht masters) and a few managers/photographers!
I love the travel content and travel updates. They’re actually my favourite posts that you do 🙂
Also, I love the pictures in this post! They look kind of magical.
I can’t wait to read your posts about Malaga and Croatia!
