Maxi Dresses For Shorter Girls | Summer 2017.

Well well well, if it isn’t the first of many outfits coming to you from Malaga - all of which will be kept in the handy ‘travel’ tab at the top. If you hadn’t seen already on my instagram, I had the pleasure of spending the bank holiday weekend in the Spanish sunshine with Otterbox and a group of other influencers. There is more on that in some #DaysOfCopper vlogs coming soon but for now, lets talk maxi dresses for shorter girls.. and every girl!

I’m only 5ft3 (and a half.. trust me the half counts) and like most shorter girls, shopping for dresses can be a challenge. No matter on the style you choose the length is always a bit of an issue. Maxi dresses in particular are always far too long so I’m forever tripping up but things are changing this Summer..

So as a little back story behind my waffling, I wanted a basic maxi dress for the Summer and stumbled into Primark a couple of weeks ago, coming across this gem for only £6. I’m still not sure if it was supposed to be a midi dress but it fits at the perfect ankle grazing length and shows off my sandals - while giving me a slim silhouette thanks to the elasticated waist.

For the Spanish heat, I decided to keep it simple with the accessories by borrowing Sinead‘s basket bag. Apparently I missed the whole straw bag trend but this Zara beauty is on my list because it fits so much and barely costs anything. I also went for these classic tied sandals from Next which despite being minimal, add quite a bit to a simple look.

The maxi dress is set to make a huge comeback this Summer in many new styles. I personally can’t wait to add more to my collection. To save you browsing the internet for hours below is a guide to my favourite high street maxi dresses:
