Jack Wills Sporting Goods: Fit For Life.

Have you ever wished your favourite brand would release a gym range just so you could wear it even more than usual? That’s how I felt about Jack Wills, but they’ve made my wishes a reality with their new range: Sporting Goods.

Sporting Goods is a capsule collection of gym clothing, formulated with high performance sports fabrics to aid your workout and fit like a glove. The collection is small and select but features monochromatic colour ways with a hint of muted turquoise and navy (trust me, it works). I personally love the fact there is a few styles in different colours because when something fits great - I want it in every shade possible.

Now lets get a little technical and talk about the pieces I’ve been trying out the last couple of weeks. I’ll start with the leggings which are my personal favourite! Like most girls, every pair of leggings gets ‘the squat test’ and most seem to fail miserably but this pair pass the test and also have a hidden short underneath so its an extra piece of mind during a workout. The fabric is really lightweight and quick drying so it feels almost like you’re wearing nothing and don’t fall down while you train.

Then we have the other workout essential: the sports bra (because lets be honest girls, we need them the most). There are two styles within the collection in different monochromatic/navy colour ways that have quickly become my gym bag staple. The cross-back bra is very simple and supportive while the other has a slight padding and more sporty design with heavy branding. There is no clear favourite between the two as they work great for all kinds of workout whether you’re doing high intensity cardio or getting pumped with weights. I don’t have the biggest of boobs but both bras hold them in place and let me workout without discomfort.

Moving on to a little more everyday, we have the hoodie. A classic Jack Wills piece which has been re-invented for the collection. Its still true to the brand but features an antibacterial, quick dry fabric that makes it great for wearing to and from the gym - I love the minimal branding and cropped design which also follows through to the vest tops and tee’s.

I’m a sucker for a vest on most gym days because I like seeing the pump in my arms, back and shoulders but sometimes a t-shirt is more my style. The black vest in some of these pictures has a high neck (to show those gains) and comes in white or grey too. As for the tee, its easy fitting and slightly cropped. There are a few styles of top depending on the fit you like but I’m a sucker for monochrome and minimalism as you know - so my choices were obvious.

I honestly can’t tell you how much I love the collection. Not only is it completely my style, but the quality and fit is second to none no matter what sport you’re doing. Andddd heres the video I’ve been wanting to show off for SO long, filmed and edited by Adrian Stanley. Please comment/like if you enjoy it because it took a lot of work!

Thank you so much BLOK London for allowing me to shoot/film with you and to Adrian Stanley for the photography, filming and editing.
