Happy New Years you gorgeous bunch!
Am I the only one that thinks Spring starts as soon as the festive period is over? I guess its wishful thinking but as soon as its January, I’m mentally preparing myself to get the bikinis dusted off and layer up a little less. (side note: its still absolutely freezing)

Now the Christmas sales are something I avoid like the plague because its too busy and my size is always sold out first - plus I didn’t want to be annoying and share clothes on my blog that you guys could love and then not be able to go out and buy for yourselves (see, always thinking of ya). Althoughhh this year I accidentally fell into New Look and ended up with this gorgeous faux fur jacket for £22 and have lived in it for the last few days.

Faux fur is a trend we always fall back to in the colder weather and each season it gets a little better. Last year it was all about the classic coat in a variety of colours/prints and right now its upgraded to a more on trend selection like the bomber jacket (which never seems to be leaving the spotlight). My Pinterest account is full of winter transitional outfits and most of them feature some kind of fur whether its a jacket, scarf or even something from the catwalk that looks like a giant hug.

This navy faux fur bomber jacket is my absolute favourite thing. Its so insanely soft that I wish you could reach into your computer screen and give it a touch so you’d understand! New Look always have the best range of affordable outerwear and it took some serious willpower not to buy the grey bomber too but I managed to resist. Just about.

So aside from the jacket which has taken over my life, I need to discuss the shoes (and the bag but we will get to that in a minute). Leopard print is set to be a big trend for Spring/Summer so right now is the perfect time to invest - especially when the velvet plimsoles I’m wearing are £22 and can be worn even on your summer holidays. I really like that they go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe.
The bag is actually a dream, similar to the infamous Chloe that everyone owns but a teensy fraction of the price. Its such a great size for day trips and fits a lot more in than you’d think - it also comes in about 5 colours just incase you wanted a few! If you visit the Missguided site through [this link here] then you’ll get £5 off when you spend £25 so you can get started on your Winter to Spring wardrobe!
