Sometimes minimalism can give you the best style, this ones my favourite.
Guys. Can you believe we’re only two weeks into January???
It feels like Christmas was months and months ago, but its still closer than payday for most people and we’re not even half way through the longest month of the year but slowly its ending.. slowly. On a bright note though, its only 5 weeks until I leave for South Africa which is really exciting! Its going to be such a big adventure that will hopefully never end but don’t worry, I’ll be updating you on social media every five minutes!!
Faux fur is a new found addiction of mine and its appearing in my wardrobe through various coats and scarves. This coat is probably the least ‘furred’ of my collection with a detachable collar in a classic cut that flatters rather than looking bulky or oversized. Its honestly my favourite at the moment because its slightly fluffed but can also be really tailored and smart if you take the collar off! Oh, and if you’re a shorty like me then the length is perfect because it gives the appearance of longer legs. Winner.
I kind of love how easy this outfit fell together, I wore my usual tee and jeans with some chunky Adidas Tubulars (genuinely my throw on outfit) and the coat just made it so much more feminine and ‘styled’. Do you not find that sometimes one piece can just make the outfit so much more of an outfit? or am I just waffling on..
The bag also kind of brings it together because of its quilt and cross body chain.. its kind of the feature without being too bold. I picked it up from Marc B late last month, a site with the most desirable styles of the moment. Its like designer heaven.. without the designer price tag. This three pocket baby fits so much in and usually carries my camera, phone, keys, lipstick, sunglasses and other random bits I probably don’t need but take anyway.
