Christmas is about love and family, but with friends being the family that you choose it would be silly to forget about them..
The 17th December will now be known as 'friendsmas', created by Jack Wills as a day to eat, drink and gift-give with your best friends - essentially just another excuse to celebrate Christmas more than once.
I'm lucky enough to have a small group of friends that I can always turn to and 2016 has solidified our friendships. We've gone through so much together in a few months and Christmas will be a symbol of moving on and celebrating the fact that we can get through everything. And I mean everything. I think that friendsmas will be the perfect excuse to reminisce and cheers to the festivities over a glass of mulled wine and a festive film.
To celebrate the coming of friendsmas, Jack Wills invited myself, a few other bloggers and press to their Soho store for an evening of festivities. We had mulled wine, a Christmas feast and all the festive tunes that you could possibly imagine while surrounded by their Autumn/Winter collection and great company. The event was a lot of fun with plenty of people to talk to and the food was amazing.
The new collection is one of the best that I've seen. There are tons of chunky knits, rich colours and velvets to update the trends in your winter wardrobe. I personally love their Aidenbay jumper which is the perfect chunky roll neck and the suede crossbody bag in dark green and Adbaston, a gorgeous velvet aline skirt. If you're interested in grabbing some pieces for yourself or gifting your friends, below is a special Jack Wills to get your present inspiration going with pieces that I love.
Anddddd if you'd like the ultimate Friendsmas, enter the Dear Jack competition and you could win a shopping spree and more for you and the gang.. (trust me, its worth it).
