September was the month of exploration. I fell in love somewhere between the Greek islands, Parisian dream and into the South African home of my new love. I had adventures in old and new places, letting go and being free from worry and full of life.

September was the month of exploration. I fell in love somewhere between the Greek islands, Parisian dream and into the South African home of my new love. I had adventures in old and new places, letting go and being free from worry and full of life. Times like these make me grateful to have this blog, with so many lovely comments about how much happier I look and how the positivity in my writing has changed, evolved and become much more enjoyable to read.

These pictures were taken in the middle of open land, so peaceful and empty. In the same spot we drove to in the middle of the night to watch the stars from the roof of the car. It was silent and beautiful although somewhat ruined by my jitters, thinking a zebra or wildebeest would come and snack on my hair and/or head (killing romance since ’09). Even so, moments like this make me grateful to be able to travel, seeing new parts of the world in new ways.

Despite the heat in South Africa (which apparently wasn’t hot), I ended up living in my jeans with various lightweight tops to compensate. I’m a sucker for a cami like most but this cropped, peplum style is perfect for summer months. Its so easy to style that dressing it up for the evening would be as simple as pairing it with jeans for the day.

I picked up the sandals in the Topshop sale for £7 reduced from £50 earlier in the summer and for genuine leather they were quite a steal.. and of course my trusty Raybans. This post is their debut on the blog but they’ve been glued to my face since David Clulow kindly gifted them to me last month.

WHAT IM WEARING

Double Brow Bar Sunglasses: Rayban via David Clulow
Peplum Cami: Missguided (similar)
High Waisted Skinny Jeans: Jack Wills
Ghillie Sandals: Topshop (similar)

Images taken on Olympus Pen E-PL7 with 45mm lens.
Photographs taken with love are always my favourites because the photographer will always click when the parts they love shine the brightest. You notice a different side of the person you’re seeing like their true smile or the happiness in their eyes.

Lovely post. So glad you're happy. Btw those animals are herbivores so you or your hair are the last things they'd want to eat. ?
