One Pair Of Jeans in Three Ways With River Island

I was recently contacted by River Island to see if I could style one pair of their jeans in three ways and being the queen of jeans, how could I say no! I decided to up the challenge and style the jeans for three different occasions; casual, work and evening.

For this styling challenge, I chose the Lori high waisted skinny jeans which are a washed black with a cropped fit and high waist to give more petite girls like me a chance to look taller and the denim is really soft so its easy to move around in them. I’ve also kept my bag and shoes the same because nothing beats patent loafers and a slouchy suede number (thats under £40, by the way..). Everything shown in this post cost under £260 combined so its an affordable way to make three outfits easily!

This outfit is perfect for every day whether its running errands, going for brunch or anything else that you decide to do. Jeans are the easiest throw on but they don’t need to look frumpy if you style them up right.
Embroidered bombers are everywhere right now and they are a great way to add something to a simple outfit. This bomber is gorgeous with Autumnal tones so it can be styled through the transition and into the colder months with different basics underneath. The ribbed crop I’m wearing is part of a two for £10 deal so you can stock up and theres a few colours to choose from, but this one picked up the colours in the bomber and suede bag perfectly.

This outfit is much more smart casual, whether its for heading to work or anywhere that needs a little more dressiness (yep, its a thing). Oversized blouses are a new alternative to the button down shirt and smarten up any jeans, I’m a sucker for white because its so classic but this blouse also comes in chambray and khaki.

I added the neck tie to make the basic neckline more interesting, and its a trend that seems to be everywhere right now. It brings the outfit together a little because the patent loafers are a harsh comparison to the washed look denim.

The final look is focused on the pyjama trend, mixing classic jeans with luxury loungewear for a little twist for the evenings. I’ve loved watching this trend unfold over the last couple of years and own a few pyjama shirts but this silk blazer styling as a jacket or buttoned up as a top with some skinny fit jeans is my number one. I love the length and low button so it can be styled with a cami under or a cute caged bralet if you’re feeling a little more daring!

I feel like these three looks are so different but work so well, giving one pair of jeans so many styling options that its worth the investment. I pretty much live in jeans as you guys know, so let me know if you’d like more similar posts!
