THE VALUE OF FRIENDSHIP.

Its upsetting to think about how many friendships aren't full of support and helping each other to grow. I've seen so many tweets and posts about the negative impact of jealousy and competition between friends and it isn't okay. Girls, come on. We should be bringing each other up and not tearing each other down! Friendship is all about supporting each other no matter what, sharing the happiness of a reached dream and picking up the pieces if anything goes wrong. I've had my fair share of friendship breakups and I'm so lucky to have a handful of close friends who have been there through it all - every success, good or bad decision and every stage of life. There are enough people ready to compete and tear you down in life, your girls don't need to be some of them. Find a friend you can always rely on.

I feel like these pictures are the perfect representations of my friendship with Char. If you asked anyone who knows us, they'd tell you we are 'two halves of the same brain'. We've known each other since the age of 14 and despite moving away to uni, we're inseparable. We have one of those friendships without jealousy and competition (unless you count the treadmill or a game of laser tag). One of our main shared interests is fitness, with Char training as a bikini athlete and making me realise how much fun fitness can be, as well as how much it can change your body and confidence. We train together sometimes and always push each other to do better or praise each others sudden muscle appearance. Girls, always let your friends know what they mean to you and never stop being there for them!
