HEADSPACE.

Whenever I'm down or just need a little space from reality, I always head to this little pond in the woods to clear my head and just think of nothing-ness. When I was going through a difficult time before starting university, I spent hours sat here thinking about my future and trying hard not to panic. The thought of heading off to university scared me, and the thought of finishing it was even worse - What am I going to do? Will I find a job? Will I be able to afford to rent somewhere alone? Its a daunting time and sometimes it makes concentrating on anything else difficult. 

When I'm in a panicked mindset, its hard to switch back to reality and realise things aren't so bad. Heading to this little 'haven' of mine and switching off my phone is the most relaxing feeling in the world. I know its not the most glamorous of spots, nor is it the most clean and picturesque but it fitted perfectly with what I wanted to say. We all need a place to go for a little headspace every now and then. Allow yourself some time every week to leave all thoughts behind and relax.

- WHAT IM WEARING -

This coat is one of my most worn but hasn't featured on my blog before. Its been hanging in my wardrobe since early Winter, costing only £14.99 from Misspap (a store that you've probably heard me rave about many times). It isn't the thickest in freezing temperatures but layering it up will keep you warm, and stylish.

I've styled it up here with a more smart/casual feel, wearing an oversized roll neck top, some simple black jeans and white court heels to take away from the casual vibes. I  love how the tan colour looks against monochrome, especially because there are so many outfit possibilities.
