Earlier this week I headed up to Covent Garden to be put in the most festive mood possible. I sat on a big comfy sofa drinking mulled wine and watching Elf in the middle of a press event.
Joules are launching their Christmas collections at the moment and invited me along to have a sneak peek. I’ve always been a fan of Joules’ homeware so I was excited to see what was on offer this year as well as the clothing and gift options - because we all know I can’t stop spending money!
The womenswear is very much heritage, countryside inspired with a big focus on making comfort fashionable. All of the pieces are well made and in gorgeous colours that won’t go out of style after one season. I especially loved a cable-knit jumper in a cream that had a big pastel check scarf wrapped around the neck - so cosy and comfortable for university or a day out. The loungewear was also one to watch after recently being voted the best selling pyjamas in John Lewis. The prints were all bold but subtle enough with soft jerseys and big fleece-y dressing gowns in the typical Joules florals.
For the homeware and gifts, there was a wide range of products with the classic florals but they also had gorgeous drawing style prints of animals on various items such as mugs and crackers. I love the quirky nature of the products and how everything just screamed British countryside. I have definitely opened my eyes to Joules as a clothing brand after this event and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the knitwear and pyjamas! You know exactly what I will be snuggled up in on Christmas day!
