Despite being one of my most worn items of clothing, this pinafore has somehow avoided my blog until now. Its so classic and effortless to style, looking great with a bodysuit, lightweight jumper, t-shirt or crop - basically every option. I chose on this occasion to add a striped top, red lips and a fedora because its fairly Parisian and casual. It worked perfectly for a trip into London! The denim is ‘proper denim’ so the quality is amazing for the £30 price tag and its so flattering. The A-line skirt gives me a lovely silhouette and my side profile looks more slender.
The boots in this post are new in from Look of the Day. The midi heel makes it feel almost like you’re walking around in flats so they’d be ideal for walking round all day or wearing to work. I also love the cut out heel and open toe - its all in the details. The fabric is like a faux-suede so I’m not sure how they would be in the rain, but for summer-y days they are perfect!
Ps - my hair looks so long in these, where has it come from!!?

I love this outfit, it is so simple but looks very elegant with the hat and boots. I have been wanting a denim pinafore for a while now but I wasn't sure on how I would style it. Very inspired.
