THE 304# CLOTHING INTERNSHIP / PART ONE.

So, 304. I'm pretty sure that you've seen the brand on twitter, instagram or some form of social media as they are everywhere (even the daily mail thanks to cheeky old Spencer Matthews). The brand was started back in 2013 with slogan vests alone, which sold well and helped the brand to become quickly known. These have remained part of 304, but the clothing has now branched out to incorporate more styles, designs and a much larger audience.

At the moment, I am purely researching and starting to design for their Autumn/Winter collection.  Its a fairly similar process to university in terms of how the research is done so it hasn't been too daunting. It is nice to be more broad with research and not homing in on just one or two topics though. So far I have designed a few pieces but as its a new style of design for me (in terms of making 'commercial' garments), its taken a little more getting used to. 

I'm pretty much allowed to try out any part of the brand that I'd like so at some point, I am going to be on some of their social media, blogger stuff and maybe other little bits but who knows. At the moment, I'm fairly happy with how everything is going!

As requested, I am going to be blogging and vlogging my way through my internship. I initially planned on this being like daily vlogs or something but I've realised now that it is much better to just allow everything to be weekly so that there is more to update. If you have any questions or certain things that you'd like me to cover in the video, let me know in the comments! I'm hoping to get one or two videos up about my internship in due time.
