Check and dogtooth are always trends which leap out alongside tartan when the colder weather creeps closer. I've got such a love for dogtooth despite only owning these trousers but its a good place to start. They are a really nice fit and the material is perfect for giving a bit of stretch which is important when you've got to crouch or whatever - tight trousers on knees aren't fun. The only problem that I've had with them is that they have bobbled after only one wear so there isn't much hope of them holding out too long.

I chose to style the trousers simply with silver, grey and black accessories so that the trousers remain the focus. Obviously they could work well with colour due to their monochrome palette though and they're pretty versatile for printed trousers. For lipstick I went bold and bright with my almost fluorescent 'morange' lipstick by MAC and my becoming signature half up bun which is basically my hairstyle when my chunk of 'fringe' starts to bug me.
