How To Wear Summer Dresses When The Weather Isn’t Summery.

It’s no surprise that I miss being in sunshine. Like, reaaaally miss! It’s like my happy place, dancing around in the heat wearing summer appropriate clothing with a cocktail in hand. Whenever I’m in a warm place, nothing matters and the world almost melts away a bit and I fully emerge myself into the sunkissed beach bars and cosmopolitans. For right now, I’m back in England for a little while and wishing the drizzle would leave. Isn’t it funny how us Brits spend a fortune on Summer clothes that we wear maybe once or twice a year? Its like we constantly hold on and hope that this year will be different, warmer and more European. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Nobody’s Child have been on my radar for quite a while because of their loose styles and classic prints.. with a price range…

The Ultimate Procrastination Doodles.

Working from home has its ups and downs which I’m going to be writing a post about soon. Some days, I power through my workload and seem to get absolutely loads done. Other days, I just can’t focus and everything in my house becomes a distraction. In between the instagram browsing, my current favourite distraction is the Doodle Your World app by Ribena. It lets you add fun Ribenary characters over any pictures you take and add them into your world. I personally love the pink flamingo and most of the pictures I send to my friends have him flying around haha! You’ve probably noticed the moving characters across my instagram story recently too! This post is only a quick one because I couldn’t wait to tell you that Ribena are giving me the chance to host a week-long competition where you can win a great Ribenary prize. All you have to do…

My Social Media Addiction: What I Learnt By Losing My Phone At …

Yep. You did read the title of this post right – I dropped my iPhone in the sea and I didn’t get it back. So I decided to tell you all about my social media addiction. The story really needs to be explained in full because essentially it happened because of my never ending hunger (which makes the story more comical). So we’d come back from Dubrovnik after some shopping and sushi but of course, I was still hungry. In my bid to eat more I went onto the deck to rifle through a box for some food (red pepper sauce for dipping crisps in to be precise). It was around 11pm so I was using my iPhone as a torch until my grip slipped and I watched it fly off the boat and drift down into the deep waters of the marina. I don’t know why I assumed the phone would float but it definitely didn’t.…

Croatia: Through The Lens.

After spending six weeks exploring Croatia while playing photographer on the boats, I managed to get quite the collection of pictures that I wanted to share. But rather than speaking about them, I’ll let the pictures do the talking..

Petite Styling in Starigrad, Croatia.

Hello there, its been a while hasn’t it? After gallivanting around Croatia playing photographer on the boats, I’m finally back in the UK for a little while. I don’t know how long I’ll be here or where the next adventure is taking us.. but we’ll get into that another time. For right now I want to share the first of a few Croatian posts, beginning with an outfit (of course). This post comes to you from the beautiful town of Starigrad, situated on the island of Hvar and boasting the most gorgeous lavender in Europe (at least, thats what I think). When we parked up the boats one afternoon, Adrian and I decided to wander up through the back streets. Lined with pale stone and red rooftops, the streets all have the same charm no matter which part of Croatia you stumble upon – and the palm trees which definitely…

Fresh Faced with Garnier.

Over the last couple of months I’ve been giving my skin a well deserved break, opting against make-up on most days and favouring natural skincare to help unclog my pores and give me back the blemish free face that I once had. My skin seemed to hit a phase this year where it had enough and decided to erupt – possibly down to coming off birth control (accidental, I’m going back on it) but it also could be climate changes, stress or a number of other things. So with that all in mind, I used Croatia as my testing ground for change. I took minimal makeup with me and decided to embrace being natural. In total my base was only applied maybe a handful of times and usually consisted of concealer and bronzer only with foundation remaining untouched. I honestly just didn’t care for wearing makeup, I liked being able to rub my eyes…

Travelling as a Fashion/Style Blogger.

Its been quite a tough transition going from living at home with an ever-growing wardrobe filled with options, to a suitcase that has to remain under 23KGs. I’ll admit that over the past three months there has been a few times when my eyes have wandered. I’ve had to pull myself away from spending money but refrained to the delight of my bank balance. It actually meant that I discovered more outfit options using clothes that I already owned which gave me way more enjoyment every morning when I got dressed! Before I left the UK, I tried to find other style bloggers who had also set off around the world on long trips and found it quite difficult. There aren’t many girls have left the comfort of home to take their fashion blog to go around the world! Thats why I felt the need to write this post. Its a kind…

Leather Jackets Are Never A Regret.

As I’ve been chasing Summer since earlier this year, my collection of ‘warmer weather appropriate’ clothes is far outweighing the knitwear. My once overflowing Winter wardrobe has slimmed right down to make way for lighter pieces. Because you know, because I plan on avoiding the cold weather for as long as possible.. Sorrynotsorry for the beautiful location of this post too. While in Malaga, Gemma and I decided to shoot some looks quickly before dinner. Sometimes other bloggers get the best shots because we just get it don’t we? We know what works for the ‘gram and this post is no exception! I guess the main talking point of this look is the £10 playsuit.. yep, a tenner!! I originally brought it from Primark as a ‘throw me on’ outfit but its actually now one of my favourites for everyday wear. I picked it up on a whim and just assumed it would be taken straight back for being…

The Trick To Perfect Legs With Wilkinson Sword.

What do you think of when you imagine a woman with wisdom? Now I’m not saying that I’m this gal full of wisdom with a crystal ball but I do like to think that I’m quite clued-up on certain aspects of life and echo the glimmer of someone wise within these pictures.. (bohemian vibes and all) I like to think that I’m quite wise when it comes to advice. I’m the friend that will always give you a genuine opinion and welcome you with open arms. But alongside this, I’m also pretty good at looking after my skin and in particular, my legs. Being quite short and flat chested, my lower half has always been my favourite and I do pretty much everything to protect my favourite assets. Whether its multiple gym sessions, flattering outfits or endless beauty products – you can bet that I know all of the tricks! So…

Spanish Beauty in Frigiliana.

Frigiliana is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. So I had to share these images with you the minute I was home.. Getting lost in unknown towns and wandering aimlessly down cobbled streets is one of my favourite things to do. Whether its in the UK or somewhere further afield, there is something so calming about discovering new places and appreciating a rich sense of history within nature and architecture. Thats why I loved Frigiliana. Last weekend I was lucky enough to go to Spain with Otterbox and one of our road trips lead us to the little town of Frigiliana – famous for its Santorini style streets and beautiful views. Its set back from the sea and staggered across a mountain top so the views are beautiful, but you do have to climb a fair few hills and stairs to get around. Throughout the day we came across…
