Green Babydoll Dress.

vegas volt, mac | smock dress, wholesalers+ | elephant 2 chunky heels, new look+ This dress really reminds me of Megan (I miss you little pea) from Thumbellina Lillie – its the kind of style that she wears so well! I have to admit, whilst looking for the style most similar to this to link, every single one I could picture Megan wearing. She is pretty much the queen of the smock and you need to check out her blog if you haven’t already! This dress came from a wholesale website earlier this year but I can’t remember the name at all. I remember it cost £15 but that isn’t very useful. I love the style though, the lace hem fits in really nicely with the floral print which is the same creamy colour. Green isn’t the usual kind of colour to go for so it makes a cute change to the other…

Layering Bralets For Everyday.

festival specs // prêt a portobello beaded collar shirt // monki eyelash lace bralet // celeb look air max essential 90 // nike via very.co.uk Firstly let me just praise these sunglasses. I’ve never come across inter-changeable lenses before and these definitely kill it. Pret-a-portobello sell these for only £25 and they come with 6 different coloured lenses (grey, brown, yellow, pink, blue, green) so you can switch them up depending on your current mood or outfit. Obviously because of the pastel pink bralet in this outfit, I chose the pink ones which I think look perfectly fitting. They also have total UV protection so they double up as sunglasses and not just a fashion accessory. Aside from the sunglasses, this outfit is quite similar to one posted last week which featured my Triangl bikini instead – but the rest of the look is versatile so why not add a…

Dork Vest DIY.

dork crop // custom, primark ribbed high waist trousers // asos converse // asos This top is one that used to belong to my best friend Char, but I claimed it at a clothes swap party and decided to crop it and give it some new life. These tops were quite overdone last year and they did become a little bit ‘everywhere’ but I always find that clothes become more fashionable once everyone stops wearing them. Like tartan will probably look better this autumn because it isn’t being overdone (she says). This time next week I will be moving into my new house and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m fully aware that I keep going on about it but the boxes all over my university bedroom are a constant reminder every time I’m back there to go to work! The de-cluttering bin bag total is now at 15, which…

Motel Rocks, Bleached Cold Shoulder Dress.

glasses // london retro savannah cold shoulder dress // motel rocks socks // house of holland quilted contrast boots // truffle This outfit makes me feel slightly Jenny Humphrey – yes I’ve been watching far too much Gossip Girl. There is something about the all black, long socks and heels which makes for the Manhattan streets (although minus designer). This marble effect dress is the perfect length for me as it comes long enough to cover me up but short enough to not drown me (small people problems). Dresses of this style are always so flattering on the legs because of how they hang – heels making it even more so. I’ve been really good at scheduling posts recently and making sure that my blog is always up to date. I also feel like the outfits have been improved – which I hope you’ll agree with? For some reason there…

Jack Wills Patterned Dress.

nail polish // seaside, barry m dress // jack wills socks // topshop chunky white heels This dress was given to me at Christmas and like most things that I have been posting lately, it sat in my wardrobe unworn. The only reason was because its a bit too long to suit me until I shortened it. I am an absolute sucker for the skater style as bodycon isn’t my thing – so this shape seemed fitting. The print is also gorgeous and colourful enough to work with warmer or colder seasons making it very versatile.

Colourful Vintage Stripes.

vest // vintage jeans // leigh, topshop free runs 5.0 // nike Plain and simple but I had to somehow fit these trainers into a post. My boyfriend treated me to two pairs of free runs for my birthday and these are by far my favourites. My Grandma and Auntie gave me the top in a massive bundle a couple of years ago as they had a lot of clothes that they no longer wanted but knew I would love – safe to say I got lots! Its only 11 days until my new uni house now so expect a little room tour to come to my blog at some point. I’ve thrown away a lot of home decor and bedding, etc, so it will look quite different to before. To be honest, the two previous ones that I have done both look very different anyway!

The Silk Pyjama Shirt.

ootd, s tortoise glasses // firmoo + baroque shirt // topshop (old) ripped jeans // new look chunky boots // truffl This shirt was a present last Christmas and it hasn’t really had much wear. As gorgeous as it is, there isn’t many styling options so it is collecting dust – sadly because its so pretty. I decided to style it simply with black heels, black ripped jeans and some cute Harry Potter style glasses. Ripped jeans are my favourite for simplicity with style – they always add a new edge even though they are just black jeans. I did actually just buy another silk shirt from Monki which is a little more pyjama like – cute.

Leather Skirt and Gingham Top.

lipstick // make up rev gingham crop // new look leather wrap skirt // neon rose patent boots // primark Gingham. Another trend that has been overdone by bloggers but still remains a staple in most stores for the moment – following through to Autumn/Winter too. I’m probably the last person to accept gingham into my heart considering that I only own this crop and a shirt, but I’m welcoming it more each day. Gingham is quite a simple print so it makes for easy styling and adds a little sumthin’ sumthin’ to outfits. I chose to style my crop with some doc dupes from Primark and this leather skirt because I thought that a grunged up look would work more for today than making it girly. I always dress quite same-y so why not mix it up a bit..

Retro Printed Shirts.

reena graphic blouse // ingenue  navy jersey skirt // h+m chunky heels // truffle  Does this shirt remind anyone else of the fresh prince of bel air? I think the print and colours are so reminiscent of the show and its definitely one of my favourite shirts of the moment. Its such a comfortable fit and the fact that it is collarless makes it even better to me. Its currently on sale for almost half of the price so its definitely worth buying now! Is it weird that I am pretty much packed to move except my clothes? I’ve kept out a few pictures, lamps and the likes but everything else is almost ready to go. I decided to be super organised by throwing things out and getting it all sorted as soon as possible so that the move isn’t a mad rush. Yep, me, organised. x

Mom Jeans Summer Outfit.

festival specs // prêt-a-portobello + top, part of co-ord set // celeb look mom jeans // new look flossys If you don’t own flossys, you should really ask yourself why. They are the most comfortable plimsoles for the heat and they come in so many colours and patterns that they work with any outfit. As for the mom jeans, I brought these in the sale for the reduced price of £12 and they are now only £10. New Look is always quite good for sales because everything gets so far reduced before it goes out of stores and offline which makes for a fashionable wardrobe on a budget. I’m absolutely worn out today. I have worked two long shifts this weekend at work and barely had any sleep. I know this is like half of a normal persons working week but I’m not used to it and supermarkets are draining…

Knitted Pleated Skirt, Simple Monochrome Outfit.

necklace // primark cropped tee // custom florence and fred mens tee (simila pleated knit skirt // primark petrol docklands // asos Yes, I am slightly wishing away the summer by dressing in a knitted skirt, but the weather is hardly helping. Just as I took these pictures it began to storm over with thunder and lightening – which would have looked cool in an outfit post but it stopped me getting any better images. Is anyone else finding the weather to be an outfit-picture-taking nightmare? This skirt was a £3 buy from Primark a couple of years a go but I’d never really been able to style it well so it just laid in my drawer collecting dust. However, when I realised the simplicity of styling it with something as easy as a white crop it worked. I quite like that the necklace and shoes are more of a…
