Street Style with Flossys | Part One.

wine duster coat // in love with fashion black cami // new look white jeans // h+m leopard print flossys    As much as I’ve been trying to avoid saying too much about this, I kind of posted it on social media anyway – but avoided showing too much. A few days ago I did a small shoot with Sophie from Flossys and its the first thing I have ever done like that. I’m used to posing to my tripod, so posing for a person (and in the wind) is an all together different story. Sophie was so helpful and pretty much positioned me which made it easier to get better shots of the outfits and me looking awkward as always. I’ll end by saying how grateful I am to have been recognised by Flossys. I’ve never worked with a company in this way before and its nice that my…

Daisy Print Dresses.

lipstick // red door red, elizabeth arden daisy print swing dress // ikrush music bag // warehouse quilted monochrome heels // truffle I am having so much fun raiding my wardrobe and discovering little gems tucked away longing to be worn. Considering half of what I am posting at the moment is either brand new or an old gem – its refreshing to have something different. This dress was gifted to me early this year but it never got much wear due to the weather being so chilly for so long. The shape is so gorgeous and it skims over my body so makes my legs look long and skinny. I love the styling options too because its monochrome – meaning it goes with pretty much anything. Only 5 days until I move house now, can’t wait to get out of my current bedroom and decorate up my new one!…

Pastel T-shirts and Shorts.

lipstick // make up rev beverly hills tee // primark pink tailored shorts // missguided chunky heels // truffle I’ve wanted to post this outfit on my blog for quite a while but never get around to it. I’ve been wearing this combination a few times and the colours are lovely. Pastel is a trend which never graced Copper Garden properly until recently but its one that is a new love and here to stay. The shorts were a buy in early summer from MissGuided and they’ve lasted me through the season well. They could work with darker colours and knits for winter too if styled differently.

In The Style Fashion Party.

glassess // firmoo fur coat // topshop baseball tee // divadames + ripped knee jeans // new look quilted monochrome boots // truffle Finally I get the hang of the background blur. Why did it take me so damn long?! This was actually my outfit for the ‘In The Style’ first birthday event – totally underdressed. I didn’t realise which sort of event it would be so I turned up dressed like this and soon realised that every other person was in dresses, heels and pretty much ready for a night out! My aim for this outfit was to keep casual but add a little bit of ‘smart’ in my own way. I’m not the most classy person, I tend to opt for oversized garments as well as fitted trousers. These shoes have featured a lot on my blog but they are rarely worn outside. The other night was their…

Made My Own Sweatshirt.

lipstick // snob, mac jumper // jessy margo mom shorts // new look chunky white heels // truffle via ebay Stupidly proud of myself for making this jumper – one which is actually menswear but fits me in a way which is allowed in everyday life. I’m aware its quite wide but that is the style and obviously if it was on a guy it would fit differently! I am beginning to create a small collection to photograph in a lookbook as a beginning of my menswear designer profiles online (jessy_margo on instagram if you’re interested). I want to make sure that I’ve built up a small name for myself before I’m thrusted into the industry properly so what better way to begin?

BLOGGERS FASHION WEEK.

Despite the previous events pictures being deleted before checking they were on my computer, I am writing this on the evening of the event (to make sure that I remember, mostly). Bloggers Love Fashion Week has been around for about 18 months now and with a couple of events under the belt, it was a lovely occasion. Upon arrival we were greeted with a jam packed room of bloggers, music, brands and even a little nail booth in the corner. I went to the event with my good friend Rosie who is new to the blogging world and wanted to experience events to get to know what its like – blogging can seem fairly daunting from the outside. We also bumped into some familiar faces such as Albertine and Charlie which was lovely as I get on really well with both of them! At the event I spoke to brands…

Geometric Knitted Skirt.

necklace // primark white crop top // custom florence and fred geometric knit skirt // neon rose chunky white heels // truffle Another skirt, what is happening to me? I’m such a trousers person but recently the skirts are coming out in force and I can’t get enough of them. This skirt was gifted to me by Neon Rose last year but its another that I never really knew how to style. Again, the simplicity of styling it with a cropped tee and statement necklace just worked really well. There will be a room tour coming soon – I’ve finally got everything nearly perfect. I’ve got a couple more storage type things to buy and a unit to get from home  but yeah! I was a little sceptical about posting another room tour as I find them slightly personal so this time it might just be slight features not a…

Simple Outfits With A Hint Of Pink.

lipstick // blankety, mac necklace // primark pink crop // custom vintage pleated trousers // monki chelsea boots // new look I’m aware the label is still on the bottom of my shoes. I completely forgot to take them off but I hadn’t worn them out of the house when I took these so its okay! The top in this post actually used to be a longer version and belonged to my Grandma – yay for vintage. It didn’t get worn as a full length top so I thought I’d take inspiration from Ronan and crop it up, which worked really nicely for my style. If you haven’t seen her blog before, you need to check it out because the girl has amazing style and her wardrobe is mostly thrifted or affordable which is perfect.

Bloggers Lounge | London Fashion Week.

duster coat // in love with fashion  cami // new loo ripped knee jeans // new look, custom leopard print plimsoles // flossys Bloggers Love Fashion Week’s first day was a bit of a bloggers haven. We were all dressed up not knowing what to expect from the coming couple of days and seeing everyones styles was so interesting because they were all so different. Unfortunately I didn’t get many pictures of my outfit at the event, but I did something a little special that you’ll see soon on the same day. My outfit consisted of two signature pieces mixed with black (of course). I’ve been lusting after a duster coat for a while so I was really pleased to pick up this gorgeous colour from In Love With Fashion at the Etail PR event earlier in the week. The colour is so perfect for styling as I don’t suit…

Peter Pan Collar Necklace.

collar necklace // ebay (old) cropped tee // primark leather look wrap skirt // neon rose boots // wrangler, vintage   This one is going to be short and quick because I’m not sure how long my internet will last. I’m finally in my new house and settled – the drama of moving made me so pleased to just be out of the old and into the new, moving alone without parents is hard work! For now, our internet was supposed to be up from 1st September but Sky found a fault in the line so we’ve got an engineer coming out to try and rectify it all – hopefully meaning the connection will stay. If not, blogging will be left on hold for a while longer. My new bedroom is mostly unpacked and I’m trying to get everything out of boxes and in place before I properly sort it…

Silk Pyjama Shirt From Monki.

pyjama style shirt // monki ribbed high waist trousers // asos chelsea heeled boots // new look This top is not actually pyjamas. As much as it looks it – its not. The satin fabric and gorgeous print make it perfect for wearing casually or dressed up. It is quite low at the front but you could easily style it to look good this way or add another layer to keep it PG. At the moment, its reduce to £7 from £20 in the sale on ASOS so its worth picking up as soon as possible before its sold out. My heels – favourites. I’ve never been a heels kind of girl but when they are chunky and boot style, I can’t get enough of them. A year ago there was only two pairs of heels in my life, now there is about triple that – if not more! These…
