NO FUR PLEASE.

faux fur gilet // florence and fred (similar here)+slogan tshirt dress // misguided (here)osidian bracelet // thomas sabo (bracelet here, charm here)+ripped knee jeans // new look + custom (similar here)houndstooth flossys (here)+iphone 5 case // iconemesis (here)+ This faux fur gilet was sent to me last Christmas by the lovely people over at F&F. I’d love to say its a staple but I sometimes find it quite hard to style because its sleeveless and our weather is all over the place! England is probably the country with the most unpredictable weather in the world – surely thats a proven fact by now?  Along with the gilet, I chose to keep it fairly simple with my black tshirt dress, ripped jeans and these adorable houndstooth flossys (review here). These are still by far my favourite shoes alongside the leopard print flossys. Obviously all of that black needed a bracelet worthy of…

THE NEXT.

lipstick // ooh la la, topshop (here)shirt // next, mens (here)jeans // new look, custom (similar here)city bag // h+m (here)boots // quiz clothing (here)+ Yet again, stealing my boyfriends clothes. If you asked him then he would tell you most of his clothes end up living with me. His shirts are one of my favourites to steal. As he’s 6ft4, they are very long on me and brought in a large means they drown me slightly – but thats the style that I love at the moment! My bag is the Zara city bag dupe from H&M which is only £30 and it fits absolutely everything inside. Its my favourite for using every day especially to university.  These boots are my current autumn favourites. They are from Quiz Clothing which is a brand that I normally look to for days when I’m feeling less casual, but these are definitely…

JOSHUA JAMES JEWELLERY.

thomas sabo black obsidian and silver bracelet (here)+thomas sabo fashion charm (here)+ Joshua James jewellery is an independent jewellers that stock various brands such as Pandora, Nomination, Troll Beads and many more. Their store is based in Hessle, East Yorkshire but they can mainly be found online with a vast range of jewellery to suit all occasions and styles. Their website is both eye catching, easy to navigate and in classic colours so isn’t too straining on the eyes – its probably one of the most attractive jewellery websites that I’ve seen! Does anyone else remember the hype around Thomas Sabo a while back? Everyone and their wife just had to own one. There is something so simplistic but lovely about the classic styles of the bracelets mixed with one or two delicate charms. For my bracelet, I wanted something black but simple – opting for the unisex obsidian bracelet due to…

DOUBLE TARTAN.

tartan blazer // missguided (here)tartan scarf // missguided (here)black cami // new look (here)city bag // h+m (here)ripped knee jeans // new look (similar here)elephant 2 boots // new look (here) Joshua is becoming quite the pro when it comes to outfit pictures – despite sometimes playing the temperamental photographer sometimes and stropping when I ask for ‘just a few more’.  There is something much more charming about outfit posts which are natural, over those which are just tripod/remote situations. I feel like these are a better reflection of my personality and how much I like to wonder around, while Josh snaps away until I’m satisfied there could be a couple of good images! Its only upon writing this post that I’ve realised the entire outfit is made from New Look and Missguided – two stores which are favourites due to their affordable but fashionable clothing. In my local town,…

LACE SPECK.

lace jumper // blue vanilla (here)+necklace // vintageripped knee mom jeans // asos (here)flower ring // pandora (here)+city bag // h+m (here)chelsea heels // new look (here) The jumper that I’m wearing in this post is from Blue Vanilla, a brand which I first came across at the eTailPR gifting lounge last month. The girl that I spoke to was really lovely, giving me lots of information about the brand and offered me this perfect jumper to style up. They stock in New Look and ASOS but do also have an independent website which is linked above. Admittedly, its taken me a long while to get it onto Copper Garden but I feel that it may appear a little more from now. I don’t really dress in the best way when it comes to university (which is where I spend 90% of my time), so my outfits haven’t been too…

ATOMIC LIPSTICKS | MAKE UP REVOLUTION.

Yep, beauty is back to this blog! I am still keeping my beauty blog live for the previous reviews and product directory, but it made sense to bring beauty back so everything is in one place. Switching to two meant that I had more to update and I often neglected beauty, now I feel like its going to be more cared about and more seen! Make Up Revolution is a brand that has become more than just a staple in my make-up collection – its a holy grail. Despite being really affordable, the products are good quality which is hard to come by.  These five lipsticks make up the new ‘atomic’ collection which has been created to give lips a more dramatic and intense look with darker, bolder shades. I personally love the colours as they are so autumnal, fitting in perfectly with the darker colours in my wardrobe and…

PERSONAL BLOG PLANNER.

I’m one of those people who is super organised on paper, but in reality I’m the complete opposite. I’m a sucker for diaries and planners and currently have; a wall one with all dates, a filofax, a phone planner, a university planner and now a blog planner. Thats way too many planners for one girl but I feel like it organises me best.  When Personal Planner approached me to have one of their planners, I instantly knew it would be perfect for arranging my blog life. When it comes to blogging, I always write down the posts/videos I’ve scheduled, ideas for posts/videos, anything being sent to me, events that are coming up and I always have a list in the back of items for hauls that month (because I always forget what came when).  The personal planners allow you to completely customise the planner in every way. You can add…

MONOCHROME.

The lovely people at Flossys were kind enough to send me a goody bag the other day with monochrome everything to die for. As you know, Flossys are some of my favourite shoes so it seemed only fitting to get another pair to add to my collection which is rapidly growing. These particular ones are houndstooth printed and only the second pair that I own which aren’t plain. They are also a softer, thicker material due to being part of their autumn/winter collection. Alongside these, I also received a monochrome batiste (which is always handy as you never know when you’ll need it) and black/white nail polishes from Barry M. Everything was so cleverly thought out and I was so gutted to have missed the event last month due to university. Unfortunately, I can’t make it to their bloggers street style this week as I’m stuck at university – but…

BASIC.

biker jacket // barneys via il2l (here)+basic tshirt // missguided (here)+city bag // h+m (here)dogtooth check trousers // missguided (here)+velvet plimsoles // missguided (here)+ How I managed to make this outfit almost entirely missguided, I’m not sure. These are all slightly new additions to my wardrobe minus the biker jacket so they’re being worn a lot at the minute. The biker jacket is about two years old now but its real leather and so easy to style which is a bonus in the weather right now – it just isn’t cold enough for a proper coat!  My tshirt and trousers are my ‘lets look stylish but be really comfortable’ outfit. The trousers are like leggings and obviously the top is oversized which means they’re easy to throw on. My velvet plimsoles are another easy, comfortable item. I originally thought that they might be hard to walk in but they are…

CLEATED CHECKS.

scarf // misspap (here)+white crop // vintagebag // mulberry (here)+mom jeans // new look (similar here)cleated sole heels // shusole (here)+ How perfect is this scarf? This year, scarves seem to be becoming a bigger part of my wardrobe than they have before. There is just something about draping one around my neck that seems to add much more to a simple outfit – like this one for example. I quite like the colours and style of this one, its much different to the classic tartans and checks that are already filling my drawers – it slightly reminds me of Burberry too! It isn’t a thick knit so it could be worn on warmer days but it definitely helps to wrap you up, just incase. My mom jeans have been hibernating a little due to feeling like light wash was too summer-y for my new love of black. However, when…

Floral Denim Layers.

floral print blazer // via house of fraser denim shirt // primark white crop // vintage city bag // h+m ripped knee mom jeans // asos lace up boots // new look Floral blazers are always reminiscent of the summer but with some clever styling, they can work through to the autumn too. This particular blazer has a crazy busy print but the muted bright tones help to bring the blazer as a statement worthy of being worn all year around. I chose to add the denim shirt underneath for warmth and layering and my ripped knee mom jeans are some of my most worn at the moment – so they had to be added too! You may have noticed that I’m back to my tripod photography, for the most part. I am still going to be keeping with the style from before but on a less regular basis. I…
