How To Slow Down When Keeping Busy Is The Latest Trend.

JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Have you ever noticed how most conversations have the typical exchange? “How have you been?!” “Really busy, but I can’t complain” (or something along the same lines.. you catch my drift) Our generation seem to thrive when we’re too busy for our own good, enjoying the stress of having a giant to-do list and drinking endless cups of coffee to stay awake and complete tasks. Its as though we’re ashamed to say that we’ve had a lazy weekend or enjoyed an evening binge watching Netflix on the sofa! We are too used to living life in the fast lane that we can’t slow down. Reasons To Consider A Trip To Benidorm.

Ah, Benidorm. The infamous TV series and a favourite amongst the boozy British holidaymakers.. but surely this little Spanish town has more to offer than beach bars and sunburnt bodies lazing all day on the sand, right?! As a travel blogger, I feel that I shouldn’t only show the places you’ve seen all over instagram but also to help you to re-consider somewhere new that doesn’t break the bank, because we can’t all afford to jet off to Africa several times a year! On one of my recent trips, I was invited to discover the beauty of Benidorm alongside Jet2 and the tourist board to prove that there is so much more to the town than meets the eye (or that you’ve seen on TV). So here is a few reasons why you should consider adding Benidorm to your travel plans.. Flights to Benidorm are Affordable. I flew from Manchester with…

What I Wore In Bilbao.

I packed for Bilbao into a carry-on suitcase which was quite a challenge given the fact that Europe is having quite the weather mix up right now. Is it going to be sunny but freezing? borderline monsoon? temperature reaching ‘Monica in humidity’ status? Hard enough with your entire wardrobe to choose from, but even harder when you’re having to decide the limited items for your cabin bag. Our trip was only four days long but naturally, I packed enough to change three or four times per day. As it was a surprise trip (we didn’t know the destination until we got to the airport), I added layers just incase I needed them but also – the summer wardrobe essentials too. But I made it work and thought I’d give you a little overview of my outfits in the beautiful Bilbao (theres a video version too if you’re interested).. Day One:…

Cycle Shorts | Autumn Trends 2018.

JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Following on from my last Autumn trends of 2018 post featuring gothic layering, its about time that I got around to the second of the five trends. This time? We’re talking cycle shorts. The trend we all love to hate but can’t stop wearing.. I’ll be honest, when I first saw the Kardashians walking around in sweatshirts and cycle shorts.. I didn’t think it would take off. . However, looking to the street style of right now? Cycle shorts are definitely one of the biggest Autumn trends for 2018 are everywhere as much as we all love to hate them. I’m quite late to the trend as it took me a while to fully commit and even now I’m still limiting myself to plain black in a style that works for me.. This outfit is quite a simple…

Gothic Layering | Autumn Trends 2018.

London Fashion Week is officially over for AW18 and I’ll be honest, its the first time I’ve been excited in a while. I tend to take a step back and focus more on my own campaigns rather than run around between shows, but this was (possibly) my last season for a while. You might remember that the past few seasons, I’ve flitted in and out giving LFW a miss but I had to have one last go! Maybe in a future post I’ll talk about my love/hate relationship with it but for now.. enjoy a few trend focused posts showing you my favourites of the moment. As its a new season (and a new chance to grow your wardrobe) it seemed like a great time to focus on current fashion trends and share some of my faves with you. The first trend had to be gothic chic, perfectly timeless for AW. I…

Thomas’ at Burberry: Luxury Lunch in London.

Who doesn’t love a luxury lunch in London? I’ve lived in London for just over a year and decided its about time that I shared a few of my favourite places to eat in the city. I’ve been to Thomas’ Cafe a couple of times and its quickly become one of my favourite places for a catch up with friends and loved ones. Thomas’ Cafe is a bit of a hidden gem. Its the lovechild of Burberry, attached to their flagship store on Regent Street and much quieter than you’d expect for its location. Its the epitome of British dining with 1940’s inspired decor and a calm space away from the busy streets. The cafe is split across two floors with a relaxed downstairs for coffee and slightly more formal first floor for dining. I’ve actually been to Thomas’ Cafe for afternoon tea before, but as there is a new lunch…

How I Keep My Travel Wardrobe ‘Ready To Go’.

Lets be honest – packing is the most essential part of any trip and washing those key pieces is just as important. If you’re anything like me, packing is stressful. I pack, unpack, repack and switch out my suitcase so many times even if I’m only going for a weekend. I guess I just like options, okay? haha.  As I’ve been traveling around quite a bit lately, it only seemed fitting to chat a little about my travel wardrobe. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to packing. I guess it comes from repacking so many times a year between trips with little time between. But on Instagram you might have noticed that I tend to pack the same few bits on repeat and have a pretty ‘capsule’ essential packing selection. Naturally I end up taking a few new-in pieces, but there is always the essential few bits that…

Four Of My Favourite Spots in Brighton.

Is there anything better than going for a trip without really leaving the home comforts? As much as I love venturing out and exploring new countries, I’m a sucker for a little adventure on British soil.  I headed on a little trip last week to enjoy the seaside, get a few snaps and finally embrace the beachfront heaven that is Brighton. Most people know it for the pebble beach or vintage shopping in the lanes – but for me it’s the epitome of a British seaside town. It goes without saying that you probably want some of the top Instagram locations, and I don’t blame you. Brighton has so many different corners that any photographer could go crazy over. And as I spent two days exploring the city, it only seemed right to share a mini city guide with my four favourite things to do – and the outfits that…

An Urban Picnic With Robinsons Refresh’d.

London is a pretty big city, with plenty of unexplored corners amongst all of the blogger and tourist hotspots. I’ve been lucky enough to live here for the past year and explore as much as possible, letting myself be part of the ever-changing rat race. However as much as I love being in the fast-paced city, sometimes it’s nice to find a little quiet corner to enjoy time with friends (or alone) and pretend you’re somewhere else. Essentially, having the best of both worlds without going too far! On-the-go drink Robinsons Refresh’d challenged me to find a lesser known spot in the city to enjoy a picnic with friends and I chose Black Heath common. Its just outside of Greenwich with lots of open space and greenery, perfect for escaping the city for a while. I’m surprised more people don’t know about it because it’s such a gem! Black Heath…

Going Blonde.

As simple as that, I went blonde. I transitioned from a beach bum with a natural balayage, to a white blonde babe.. through to a ‘darker route’ effortlessly blonde, blonde. Did you think I could fit so many looks into one sentance? No, neither did I. A couple of weeks ago, I walked into my usual hairdressers Live True and decided to take the plunge for a blonder look. My regular salon is Vauxhall but Live True also have salons in a few other parts of London depending on where you’re living. Vauxhall is always a chilled environment with the friendliest team – making every hour in the salon completely worth it. I also love the fact that theres a more sociable table so you can work and chat without staring at yourself in a mirror! So we started off with a ‘palette cleanser’ and bleached my entire head to…

Exploring Chiang Mai On A TukTuk.

Did you really go to Chiang Mai if you didn’t get a tuk tuk? Because are you really a blogger doing the above if there isn’t picture proof? No, #DoItForTheGram. The vlog of my trip to Chiang Mai with PANDORA is over on my YouTube channel but I have a few more posts to share with you from my short trip to Chiang Thailand. I decided to dedicate an entire post to our day of exploring because we visited temples, shopped in a local street market and got a tuk tuk around the old town. It was basically ‘how to Thailand in a day’ and its given me an itch to get back out there as soon as possible to explore some more. Heads up: I’d never been to South East Asia before this trip so I apologise if this is a complete gap year Brit’s explanation of Thailand.…
