Bringing Back The Cardigan.

The cardigan, oh how I’ve missed you. The added warmth of a jumper but giving more option to layer. The cosy, chunky knit that adds more to an outfit and keeps you warmer than London Underground in summer. (okay too far, not that warm). I pretty much forgot that I owned this cardigan until my Grandma handed it back to me this week. Since then, I’ve barely taken it off. You know when you have that knitwear you just keep coming back to!? This is totally it. And it cost me under £20. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. After a lot of Pinterest browsing, I decided to try a different kind of style and wrap my belt around the outside of my outfit. Its a style I never really thought to try before but I kind of love it. The length of…

The Sportwear Edit.

Whether you’re staying at home or heading somewhere a little warmer, working out in the summer can be a sweaty business. And finding summer gymwear can be even harder. Being back in the UK has given an extra sweat to my workouts on the odd hot day. My once daily swim in the sea has turned into a humid run around the town and the workout wardrobe has had to adjust too – because who wants to run in a bikini!? Unfortunately I can’t get to the gym as much as I’d like until I’m settled in my new home. I’m fully enjoying at-home workouts and going for a daily run to keep my body healthy. If you want to keep up, I do have a fitness Instagram account to track my fitness journey and as soon as I’m in the new place, my gym membership will be renewed (obviously).…

Is It Time To Give Up On Summer?

Yep, midway through August and I’m throwing it out there because our Summer seems to be over. Or at least over for the most part because I’ve worn slightly more clothing and found myself snuggled in jumpers of an evening. Basically – it just isn’t boiling hot and beautiful any more. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. This outfit is coming to you from South Africa because lil old me was so prepared that I got some transitional content a few months early. I say prepared, its actually just because we were there in “Winter” so some days it got quite chilly. They seemed quite silly to post mid-summer which is why I’ve held off until now.. My legs are going to remain bare for as long as possible so being cosy in different ways is a must. I love nothing more than a…

How To Spend A Long Weekend in Barcelona.

Okay, I know that I travel a lot and rarely do actual guides to the places but this is all about to change. I’ve decided to stop giving you a bazillion outfit posts and start focusing on sharing my life with you. My beauty essentials, places I love, whats on my mind, etc etc etc. As we’re now fresh out of Barcelona content (for this trip at least), it seemed fitting to share exactly how I spent 72 hours in the beautiful city and a few tips I picked up! Before I get into what we got up to, I need to tell you to download MyTaxi and CityMapper. MyTaxi is basically Uber and works in exactly the same way but its much cheaper than just waving a cab down on the street and CityMapper is great for navigating public transport whether you’re in Barcelona, London, Paris.. etc. Day One – The Evening We landed…

There’s Meaning Behind The Metal.

Jewellery is something that comes with a meaning however obvious or hidden that meaning might be. Whether its a ring for your 5th birthday from the Grandparents or a pair of earrings to celebrate your graduation from university – its always a gift from someone and never just to yourself because ‘hey I’m fabulous and deserve to treat myself’. I can still remember growing up and admiring my Grandmas jewellery, wishing I could have my own collection so beautiful. Sifting through her jewellery box and listening to her stories about where each necklace or brooch came from. I guess my magpie tendencies came from her because I can’t stop adding to my collection and can’t wait to have a beautiful antique style jewellery box of my own like (this one). Four Transitional Lipstick Shades You Need For This Season.

I know its only the beginning of August but with the gloomy weather and slight chill in the air, its starting to feel more like Autumn.. one of my favourite times of year. With the changing season, my natural look is being replaced with a slightly more made-up one and the darker shades are starting to come out. I think the colder weather just makes doing make-up a bit more fun because its got less chance of sliding off your face! This post is going to feature my four ‘must have’ lipstick shades for the transitional period – just to keep you ahead of the trends (ofc). If you’ve browsed any glossy magazines or even just social media recently, you’ll know that two of the big beauty trends for Autumn 2017 are berry tones and of course, the earthy neutrals. Both of which happen to be my absolute favourites for the season. I…

Lets Chat About Blog Photography And Community Changes.

“They f*ck you up, your Mum and Dad. They don’t mean to, but they do.” A grafitti quote referencing a poem by Phillip Larkin that really got me thinking about society. About the blogging community. The group of individuals that come together by default when they hit publish on the first post. This post could flutter off in so many directions so I apologise if this is a little hard to follow.. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. I couldn’t tell you when I actually started my blog but I know that its been a few years. It was a hobby that took away from my studies and allowed me to express my creativity that turned into my full time job almost a year ago. It still is a hobby that I enjoy more than anything, but I’m lucky enough to call it my career now…

The White Dress I Can’t Stop Wearing ft. Sagrada Familia and …

I promise that the Barcelona spam is almost over (sadly) and I’ll be back to regular posting by next week. I think theres maybe two more outfits and a city guide.. but I’m sure you’ll love those right!? Speaking of outfits, can you even count how many times this dress has featured? Its an almost daily feature to my Instagram account and has also featured in my ‘summer dresses when it isn’t summery’ blogpost and the Barcelona lookbook too! Its from Nobodys Child and was actually the first piece that I’ve received from them but I’ll definitely be going back for more. The few pieces that I ordered all fit like a dream so I can’t wait to try more – especially into the new season! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. This outfit was for a day of ‘lets go exploring’ as we headed to the Sagrada Familia…

Tied Up Stripes and Accidental Bad Etiquette.

Why hello there, it seems like ages since I wrote a post but I’m back with a new Barcelona style guide, written on a new MacBook after the drama this week. Officially kicking off part two of #CopperTravels to Barcelona! You’d be surprised at just how many pictures I took while we were there, topping almost 250 on my phone alone and barely any of my outfits. Its difficult not to get engulfed in culture when you’re in one of the most beautiful cities so I’ve already planned to go back with Adrian in the Autumn time – it would look so beautiful when the leaves are falling, right?! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. So for my outfit on this particular day of sight seeing, I opted for something simple. I’ll tell you first that most of the older buildings won’t let…

Street Style in Barcelona Side Streets.

Welcome to the beginning of #CopperTravels to Barcelona. A new ‘mini series’ sharing everything about my trip in one go.. because I couldn’t wait to share it and knew you’d love it all. Theres lots of street style from Barcelona, vlogs, guides, lookbooks and even a whole bunch of my photography. I spent most of my time wandering the streets with iPhone in hand, taking pictures and videos of absolutely everything.. literally. These images were taken down a street just outside of the Gothic Quarter. We’d visited a little indoor food market called Mercat Princesa with the most amazing treats from all over the world (pizza, tapas, tacos, burgers.. you name it). I’d definitely recommend it if you’re with some friends and looking for a few drinks and ‘nibbles’. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. How I Afford To Travel | Travelling On A Budget.

This post is quite heavy, so if you’re not in the mood to read there is a video version (here) on my YouTube channel. My most asked question since the beginning of this year is ‘how do you afford to travel so much’ and its quite a tricky one to answer given that we haven’t done things the typical travellers way. So its about time that I sat down and properly spoke about my previous adventures and let you know how I afforded everything and a few tips if you’re hoping to travel yourself. Now our travelling has only consisted of three countries in six months which doesn’t seem like much – but I’ve actually only been in England for around 8(ish)weeks since the beginning of 2017. Our plan isn’t to travel fast though. We haven’t thought up a route over a set period of time. To us its about…
