Day to Night Style | The Wrap Around Dress.

Do you ever experience the days when you’ve got a bursting diary that requires a couple of dress codes with no time to change outfit? Yep, me too! This ‘day to night’ wrap dress look started with a breakfast event, leading on to a coffee-fuelled meeting and ending at the theatre with friends. Essentially – a day that needed more than one look with no time to go home in between. I ended up throwing some heeled boots in my bag and the overall look changed. And thats when this on-going series came to mind. The wrap dress is a style thats been everywhere the last few months. Its a LFW staple and seems to feature on my Instagram feed on the daily. I’ve been loving for a while and this wrap dress from Wear All is the most versatile that I own and comes in 3 different colours (but obviously I chose…

Checkin’ It Out | 5 Days, 5 Trends | LFW Autumn 2017.

JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Well hello there, aren’t you glad to be seeing me on a daily basis? Can you believe Fashion week is already over for another season!? My fun isn’t over yet as I’m heading to London Fashion Week Festival this weekend to bring you the latest from this seasons RTW! Remember to keep your eyes on #CopperxLFW for the updates, or check my previous outfits and trend focus in my ‘Fashion Week’ tab. Anyway, this look was a cheeky little focus on checks in the form of this seasons must have: the check blazer. Its a very typical ‘me’ look with the skinny jeans but for one day I just wanted my comfort and it was bloomin’ cold (hence the scarf). The Teddy Fur Jacket | 5 Trends, 5 Days | LFW Autumn 2017.

This season is already one of my favourites ever. LFW seems to be a little quieter and it makes the whole thing more enjoyable. I love the hustle and bustle when the streets are packed but the fact we could move a little easier is always appreciated. Day two was all about the late afternoon events for me after a boozy brunch date with my friends. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Now for day two I decided to rock the teddy bear trend. A style which made its appearance last Autumn but this year it looks set to be one of the biggest trends. Teddy fur coats have already creeped onto the high street with so many style variations to choose from. I’m actually so pleased there was a comeback because what could be better than literally wearing a teddy bear around for the…

The Double D(enim) | 5 Days, 5 Trends | LFW Autumn 2017.

Hello my babes and welcome to my first proper London fashion week.. ever. Anddd don’t you worry, there is plenty of content coming your way from the front row. You’ll be getting daily updates on my outfits as well as some high street trend forecasts etc. I’m going to be spoiling you with daily fashion content for a while – aren’t you lucky! I’ve obviously been to LFW before but this is the first season that I’ve attended shows every day. I did post last year about why fashion week isn’t for me but I decided that now I’m living in the city, I should probably bite the bullet and fully immerse myself in the lfw madness to see what I think of fashions most chaotic time of year. So far so good. Day one wasn’t too chaotic and I’m already three shows down. (remember to follow my Instagram for daily…

An Outerwear Staple You Need For This Autumn.

Hello my babes, I hope you’ve all had a fab few days and not missed me too much. If you haven’t been following me on twitter, youtube or Instagram (which you totally should be) then you might have missed that I’ve moved into London. It kind of explains the lack of content over the last few days but I’ll be making up for it from now – don’t you worry!! The decision was a pretty quick one with a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Adrian and I had planned to move to my hometown of Solihull to a nice, reasonably priced apartment. But we weren’t ready to give up the busy lifestyle just yet.. so we moved to London instead. So far our working and social lives are thanking us and we’re both happier than ever. It was definitely the right move but I’m still falling back into…

The Journey To Better Skin | Part One.

I airbrush my skin. Yep, I said it. I smooth my face over in pictures to remove every blemish because my skin is something I’ve always struggled with. I don’t get angry breakouts like some people, but the odd blemishes and redness get to me so much that I tend to smooth out every picture that I post of myself online. Not over edited, but enough so you can’t tell that I’ve got a few little bumps. Hopefully that’s all about to change.. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Lets talk about my skin because.. well, isn’t that what this post is about? Throughout my teenage years there was barely a blemish on my face but as I got older and my stress levels grew in university – so did my breakouts. My problematic areas are my forehead, across my cheekbones and down…

Tips For Growing Your Instagram Organically.

Instagram growth has been a difficult thing for a while now. The algorithm might have messed us around a little but there is a few ways that you can keep top of your game and engage your followers more than usual. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed my Instagram growth and engagement has improved and thought I’d share my tips with you.. I do want to stress before starting that your follower count does not determine your worth as a blogger. I mean, granted if you have 100k on Instagram then you’ve got a bigger reach than someone with only 30k but ultimately, engagement matters the most. Whats the point of having all of those people following you when barely any of them like or comment on your posts!? I’d rather build a small community that enjoy the content I’m creating, than have a number of followers and feel like I’m…

Frilled Hems and Rain.

I’m not sure why it surprised me that it rained in England, but I definitely didn’t expect to be layering up my outfits with knitwear before September hits. And I’m pretty sure the last couple of years have been warm through until October!? ps – these pictures are pre-hair dye and will be for another couple of posts! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. This jumpsuit is something I’d never normally have gone for but I love it. It was actually picked up for a wedding that I went to and even though black is almost a wedding sin, styled with the right accessories and shoes – it could definitely pass the test. But besides that, it’s a great style for everyday. I’m mentally planning ways that it can be worn into the Autumn in various layers and this look is one because…

Vivienne’s First Outing.

Before I start this post, let me tell you that I’m not really one for designer. Not popular designer at least. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Gucci ‘blogger bag’ as much as the next person but I don’t have a desire to own one for myself. Its taken me a while to accept that I’m not one for trends and I have quite a casual, minimal style that is unique to me and totally okay (but more of that on another post). This Vivienne Westwood is actually my first ever designer bag and one that I’d lusted after for years. I remember back in university when my Vivienne Westwood obsession began and I’d always flick through the new collections thinking about what I’d buy if I had the money, but alas. I’m still a student at heart and to be honest, I’m still not financially stable enough to splash my money on…

Bringing Back The Cardigan.

The cardigan, oh how I’ve missed you. The added warmth of a jumper but giving more option to layer. The cosy, chunky knit that adds more to an outfit and keeps you warmer than London Underground in summer. (okay too far, not that warm). I pretty much forgot that I owned this cardigan until my Grandma handed it back to me this week. Since then, I’ve barely taken it off. You know when you have that knitwear you just keep coming back to!? This is totally it. And it cost me under £20. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. After a lot of Pinterest browsing, I decided to try a different kind of style and wrap my belt around the outside of my outfit. Its a style I never really thought to try before but I kind of love it. The length of…

The Sportwear Edit.

Whether you’re staying at home or heading somewhere a little warmer, working out in the summer can be a sweaty business. And finding summer gymwear can be even harder. Being back in the UK has given an extra sweat to my workouts on the odd hot day. My once daily swim in the sea has turned into a humid run around the town and the workout wardrobe has had to adjust too – because who wants to run in a bikini!? Unfortunately I can’t get to the gym as much as I’d like until I’m settled in my new home. I’m fully enjoying at-home workouts and going for a daily run to keep my body healthy. If you want to keep up, I do have a fitness Instagram account to track my fitness journey and as soon as I’m in the new place, my gym membership will be renewed (obviously).…
