Transitioning Your Wardrobe: Summer to Autumn

I’ve made it no secret that my summer isn’t ending any time soon so I thought I’d give you a little peek into how I’m keeping my summer going strong here in the UK. Sometimes you’ve just got to embrace the bare legs for as long as possible, even when its chilly outside and theres a 70% chance you’ll catch a cold. I’ve made it no secret that my summer isn’t ending any time soon so I thought I’d give you a little peek into how I’m keeping my summer going strong here in the UK. For most girls the change in season means grabbing your winter clothes out of a suitcase in the loft and switching out your summer collection for a few months. I always wonder why I’m not this savvy with clothing but my preference is to keep everything timeless and not seasonal. I like to leave clothes hung in my…

The Cabanas Hotel | Sun City Resort, South Africa.

I feel like recently there has been a slight influx in travel content on Copper but hopefully you’re enjoying this little change? I feel like as this blog is an extension of me, it should go wherever I do and talk about everything that interests me at that given time.  As you guys have seen on my instagram, my trip to Paris was quickly followed by a trip to South Africa. Its a country that I’d always wanted to visit but never found the time or travel companion but last month I decided enough was enough. My trip was only four days long which isn’t nearly enough time but I thought I’d let you know what I got up to so you can realise how beautiful the country is and how much you need to go! During my trip, we spent two days in the beautiful Sun City resort which is located in the…

BEYOND NAKED: Shapewear For Confidence.

What does shapewear mean to you? Is it a way of smoothing your silhouette, contouring your body or slimming to look better in a dress? Here are my thoughts.. My wardrobe is full of oversized clothing whether its high waisted trousers, a shift dress or ‘two sizes too big’ t-shirts. This all started in university as I struggled with my weight and used clothes as a cover up. Now that I’m back to a size 6, its like a fun experiment to try on tighter clothes and enjoy the confidence I’ve gained.Wacoal have recently launched Beyond Naked, a shapewear collection for everyday which is invisible under clothes and doesn’t restrict you in any way. They give you a smoother silhouette in tighter clothing which helps boost confidence and give you more outfit options! For the last week I have been trying out various pieces from the Beyond Naked collection under my everyday outfits to see how…

Windmills.

September was the month of exploration. I fell in love somewhere between the Greek islands, Parisian dream and into the South African home of my new love. I had adventures in old and new places, letting go and being free from worry and full of life. *make sure you follow WorldMeetsTwo for more..September was the month of exploration. I fell in love somewhere between the Greek islands, Parisian dream and into the South African home of my new love. I had adventures in old and new places, letting go and being free from worry and full of life. Times like these make me grateful to have this blog, with so many lovely comments about how much happier I look and how the positivity in my writing has changed, evolved and become much more enjoyable to read. These pictures were taken in the middle of open land, so peaceful and empty.…

Exploring Paris on a Budget.

On a first trip to Paris, its easy to get caught up in the whirl of monuments and attractions. Those things are worth seeing but on a return trip, its fun to get lost and explore different sides to the beautiful city that you may have missed before. I’ve been to Paris twice now and thought I’d share a way to explore the city without spending too much.. Relax by the canalThere are various spots in Paris to sit by the canal and watch the world go by, so with coffee in hand this is what we did. When its sunny, the locals and other tourists scatter the banks so you will always find someone to chat toFree admission to museumsLots of the museums in Paris are free admission so becoming engulfed in the culture is easy. The Louvre, Pompidou and other museums are free either always or the first Sunday of the…

Outdoor Cardio Made Easier.

Its no secret that I’m a sucker for a good pair of sneaks – whether they’re for the gym or wearing every day to style up an outfit. This pair of trainers from ON are mainly worn for my outdoor cardio sessions, letting me run through the world breathing in all of the fresh air and giving me pure headspace and after two months of trialling them, its about time I let them hit my blog. ON use a swiss technology to make their shoes one of the highest performing on the market, with the soles made to feel like I’m running on clouds. This technology takes the tension away from my knees which was a winner for me. I find that outdoor running can be tough after a couple of miles so the cushioned sole is perfect. Each of the parts of the sole is separated so they move individually depending…

Why I’m Skipping London Fashion Week This Season.

London Fashion Week is always the main event to most bloggers calendars. We head down to Brewer Street with our cameras and handfuls of invites, catching up with old friends and snapping our outfits while browsing the latest trends. Its probably the best time to network with other fashion bloggers and get yourself educated on the trends for future blog content, but this season it just wasn’t for me.  London Fashion Week is always the main event to most bloggers calendars. Things I Learnt The First Time I Travelled Solo.

Here I am, one solo trip down and deciding to write a post about it after documenting the entire trip on YouTube.  Here I am, one solo trip down and deciding to write a post about it after documenting the entire trip on YouTube. Anyone who has been on a holiday by themselves will tell you that its the best thing they ever did and I didn’t believe it until I was having the time of my life flying round a greek island on a quad bike with new friends and a new sense of adventure. I was the most terrified person when I started this trip, so if I can do it then anyone can. Heres some of the things I learnt while travelling solo for the first time.. Its way less scary than you thinkThe thought of being in a different country alone is daunting but its not as bad as…

FINDING RELAXATION | SPA BREAK AT WHITTLEBURY HALL.

Spa weekends are the ultimate girl time and a great way for Tash and I to feel 16 again and have a much needed catch up as well as finding a piece of relaxation in our crazy busy lives – or as Tash calls it, feeling zen.. Whittlebury Hall is a beautiful stately home located near Silverstone, set in the countryside with nothing but birds to listen to. We stayed in a really lovely modern space overlooking the grounds with twin beds, small living room set up a desk area as well as a television across from the beds. I couldn’t fault the room at all, it was more than big enough for the two of us and we spent a lot of time relaxing in there between trips downstairs to the spa. The spa is separated into two areas, the leisure club and the heat and ice experience. We headed into the leisure club…

Summer Festival Essentials.

With the season nearly over I’m holding on and doing everything in my power to avoid the Autumn. This summer held so many memories and I’ve enjoyed every minute of experiencing new things like heading to Reading Festival (because Fall Out Boy are my childhood dream). Despite my day-long festival spurt, I thought I’d talk about a few of my festival essentials and preparations for anyone going to Bestival or thinking about any music events for next year, because I certainly am. As far as an outfit goes, a playsuit is an easy choice because they look great and keep you cool, teamed with a fringed bag for the ultimate festival outfit. Oh, and the most important accessory is the sunglasses. Partly so you can actually see the acts through the occasional sunshine and partly just to look cool. The ones shown are a little slice of Quay Australia heaven, aptly named All my…

Being Yourself After A Breakup & Being Okay About It!

It hast really been brought up on my blog yet but my boyfriend and I broke up a while ago. It was completely mutual but after almost six years, discovering who I am again and feeling confident alone has been a challenge. It sounds so dramatic but spending so long trying to keep someone else happy and not focusing on myself meant that naturally I became more reserved and spent less time with my friends. But lets not dwell on all of the negatives because the positive is huge – I’m very happy. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.
