IbisLates: Intimate Acoustics with Roundhouse.

Its always a great affair when artists perform in smaller locations because the vibe becomes music more acoustic and intimate, making you feel like its just you and the sound. Ibis teamed up with Roundhouse for a new venture which brings upcoming artists to perform at various Ibis hotels around London, kicking off with Shoreditch because where else would be better for such a cool event!? The event featured performances by Estee Blu who is a unique performer mixing a little gospel with jazz and R&B with her first EP being fresh out, Jay Johnson who started his career as a busker to recording his first EP in Abbey Road studios featuring a mainly folk influence, Soma which is a young creative band with electronic influence and Nikita Chauhan, a DJ with a great ear for mixing different genres of music.  All of the acts regularly at Roundhouse in various genres which was…

Adidas Gazelles.

I totally brought these trainers because my heeled boots were hurting on a recent trip to Westfield. There is NO shame though because I’d been trying to justify a reason to buy them for months and painful feet is definitely a reason to spend money on a new pair of shoes, right?  Adidas are becoming quite the style icon with every blogger and their sister wearing Superstars but the Gazelles are definitely more my style. There is something about the retro look with the suede that makes them appeal way more to me and I love that I can buy them in tons of colours (burgundy is next on the list). This is a look I’ve been wearing a lot recently as its fairly ‘thrown on’ but in a stylish kinda way. The long sleeved v-neck is from the American Eagle soft & sexy range, matching my Gazelles perfectly. I’ve become a…

CitizenM Shoreditch: Boutique On A Budget.

In the last few weeks there has been more nights in hotel rooms than my own bed, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Last weekend World Meets Two got invited to stay at the latest CitizenM boutique hotel in Shoreditch and as its my favourite neighbourhood, we couldn’t say no. The hotel is located a short walk from Shoreditch tube station down a quirky little road with tons of street art to please artsy eyes. We actually found the hotel so easily and we were shocked by how tucked away it is despite being right in the heart of such a busy town.  The first thing that really struck us was the fact that most of the hotel is on the first floor, giving you even better views of the city and all check in/out happens via computer making it quick and simple. CitizenM offer you the choice of…

Wearing Embroidery.

I feel like sometimes its okay to have no words, especially when it comes to an outfit. Can you believe this is already the second post of November? 2016 has flown by in a incredible blur but finally we are in the midst of my favourite season with all the fallen leaves and earthy tones. These pictures were probably taken slightly too early for the true autumn vibes as it was still a little warm, but the way Zoe caught the sunlight for these photographs makes me look like I’m a glowing ball of light which I’m totally okay with.. This outfit was layered up from the boots, the perfect forest green leather heeled boots of my autumnal dreams. Have you ever seen boots in such a beautiful colour!? Zara always does the best footwear and teamed with my usual all-black (like last weeks post), they stand out like they were made to…

Giving My Day A Twist with Starbucks.

Sometimes its nice to mix things up and take a break from routine, try something new. Starbucks recently asked me to give my day a twist, so thats exactly what I did.. Despite living out of the city, I spend most of my time in London whether its at meetings, events or seeing friends. Throughout these days I sit on multiple tube trains and let the laziness overcome getting off a stop earlier to enjoy a little bit of the fresh air and escape the stuffy, overcrowded atmosphere.  So one day when I headed to the city, rather than sitting on the tube all of the way to St Pauls for a meeting I got off at Bank and walked through the streets so I could look up at the beautiful architecture and take in the sights (while people watching of course). London is such a great city with every tube…

6 TRAVEL INSTAGRAMMERS YOU NEED TO FOLLOW.

As my adventures start to take me around the globe I’ve been following more and more instagrammers with lust-worthy holidays and beautifully sunkissed skin. There are so many traveling beauties around the world with accounts to make you swoon, so here is a list of my favourite six. Despite these being mostly beachy there are tons of other travel accounts depending on what you’re into.. alexisren If I could crush on one girl, its Alexis Ren. She is a Californian model with the most envious life.. ever. She spends her days in various countries with friends and makes beautiful videos alongside the pictures you see on Instagram. I actually found her while browsing swimwear accounts this summer but she’s one of my inspirations when it comes to travel snaps (and body goals).. doyoutravel This couple are one of many traveling couples that we follow on WorldMeetsTwo. How I Took My Blog Full Time.

I did it. I’m now a full time blogger. Copper Garden has my full attention. There has been a huge weight on my shoulders for as long as I can remember, trying to decide between keeping my graduate job and building up a career or following my heart and taking Copper to full time status.  I don’t even know how to word this. There is so much that I want to say and the words just won’t flow in a way that makes any sense because its something that I never thought I’d be writing about.. This summer was a huge learning curve and my life took a complete overhaul. I left the comfort of university and fell into a graduate job, finished a long-term relationship and moved into a new home. It was as though someone had picked me up and thrown me into someone else’s life then told…

The Hi-Tech Hub Hotel | Westminster, London

Who knew staying central could be so affordable, and so high tech? The Hub got it right first time.. Hub is the new love child of Premier Inn, offering stylish urban hotels in the best locations around London. I was lucky enough to be asked if worldmeetstwo would like to review a room at their new Westminster location and obviously couldn’t say no. The hotel is located right next to St James’ Park tube station and a stones throw from most of London’s main sights – perfect if you want to explore the area or if you need to be central for whichever reason. There is 5 Hub hotels around London including one in Edinburgh. The hotel is really stylish and modern with machines to check you in and register your room cards, as well as being able to control your hotel room from your smartphone via the hub app (heating, lights…

Black On Black On Black.

Can we just pretend that wearing all black isn’t my usual get-up and hold a shocked expression? I feel like its slightly expected that I’ll be wearing an outfit made from varying textures of black clothing, or mostly black with a hint of white or grey but this will be the last for a while (she says). I’m trying to mix up my wardrobe and add a few more neutral tones for the Autumn to feed my wardrobe with something new and give into the trends. Suggestions welcome..  Styling my favourite leather jacket and basic black jeans, I added a layered lace cami and some suede buckled boots for a more ‘stylish’ take on wearing all black. River Island actually have some great pieces in at the moment so whenever I go into a store, my wardrobe doubles in size. WHAT IM WEARING JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Fawn Pleats.

Sometimes when it comes to my blog, I’m a little lost for words. Over the last week I have walked out of my graduate job and taken Copper Garden into full time status. I will definitely be writing a whole post about this in the coming weeks but for now, just know that its one of the best decisions that I ever made and the content is about to become much better..  Speaking of changes, I mixed it up a little in this one didn’t I? Pleats are a trend that I’ve always loved but never really styled because I’m not a skirt kinda girl, but these culottes are a new addiction.  Leather and Suede Jacket: AllSaints via John Lewis White Roll Neck Top: ASOS Pleated Culottes: Mandi Candi Trainers: American Eagle City Bag: Zara

How To Spend A Long Weekend In South Africa.

Normally if you were going as far as South Africa, you’d need to spend two weeks there to experience the country properly but with a little time off work and a spontaneous decision – I got on a flight for three nights around Johannesburg and loved every minute. My trip didn’t really have a plan so we just explored what we could and made sure we barely slept to make the most of our trip so that every second was filled with some kind of adventure. We managed to get so much done that I thought I’d share a little post about how to experience South Africa in four days.. FlightsFrom London most flights are overnight which is the easiest way to go as its 11 hours from Heathrow. Rather than wasting a day travelling, you can have a full day either side of the flight in both directions. I flew out on…
