My Final Results With ProActiv+

Can you believe it’s been six months since Proactiv+ first graced Copper Garden?! I’ve been using the range daily since August and couldn’t wait to share the finished results with you. All of my previous posts can be found in the ‘journey to better skin’ with information on my skin story, a couple of product reviews and a little chat about feeling confident when you’re bare faced.

I’ll be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever really had a ‘routine’ with my skincare. I’m questioning why it took me so long! I used to just take my makeup off with micellar water and use the occasional face mask… but it didn’t go much further than that. Recently – through using the products – I’ve realised the importance of sticking to something more effective. Now it’s all about these three steps; cleanse, tone, moisturise.

So let’s talk about the results, because I’m really chuffed and haven’t stopped recommending the range to friends! The ‘after’ image shown is actually during my period so theres a teeeeny hormone breakout but my skin is now clear and blemish free.

Back in August, my skin was suffering a breakout that lasted for a few months. There were blemishes across my forehead and cheeks which I put down to stress and pollution from life in the city. I was trying everything in my power to clear the breakout but nothing was making a long-term difference.

Within a fortnight of using the 3-step core kit from Proactiv+, my blemishes cleared up. I noticed my skin was still improving and the addition of the Mark Fading Pads meant that my face was looking brighter too. As you can see from the ‘after’ images, my face is completely blemish-free. I put the brightness and glowing appearance down to the Redness Reducing Serum and Deep Cleansing Brush combination. (the best product I own for sureeee). You can also see that blemish scars and uneven skin tone are improved.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect upon finishing the trial but I’m very happy with the results and definitely want to keep using Proactiv+. The products are still part of my routine and given that my skin seems to have improved, I don’t think I will be switching them up any time soon! Even my boyfriend has become addicted to the Skin Purifying Mask.

I also wanted to share some images from the final Proactiv+ event at Spring, a new restaurant in London’s Somerset House. The menu is made up of vegetables and fruits considered to be ‘no good’ for sale. Whether it’s because they aren’t the right shape or they’ve reached  the final sell by date. It’s a really cool concept because no two evenings have the same menu and it’s reducing waste in London. It was a delicious meal and so lovely to catch up with the other bloggers, Proactiv team and Dr Laura Savage. Who is the dermatologist who gave me the most amazing advice that I’ll continue to use.

Remember, you can get 20% off all Proactiv+ products on their website with the code COPPERG118. The code can be used twice per customer and expires on February 28th.
