Hello my babes, I hope you’ve all had a fab few days and not missed me too much. If you haven’t been following me on twitter, youtube or Instagram (which you totally should be) then you might have missed that I’ve moved into London. It kind of explains the lack of content over the last few days but I’ll be making up for it from now – don’t you worry!!
The decision was a pretty quick one with a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Adrian and I had planned to move to my hometown of Solihull to a nice, reasonably priced apartment. But we weren’t ready to give up the busy lifestyle just yet.. so we moved to London instead. So far our working and social lives are thanking us and we’re both happier than ever. It was definitely the right move but I’m still falling back into my step and getting organised.
Now lets chat about the outfit – are you loving the more editorial vibe!? Its the first pictures since my hair got lighter andddd since moving house. Its all changing for the better!
Denim just never goes out of style and blue denim seems to be here to stay. This jacket is pretty much the main focus of these images and a staple in my Autumn wardrobe. I’d been looking for the perfect denim jacket when I found this beauty in Topshop for only £46. I fell in love with the classic, oversized style and the bleach wash is literally the perfect shade for rocking the double denim or wearing with pretty much everything in my wardrobe!
I’m sure you can tell by now that its been added to my year-round capsule wardrobe and I think you’ll be seeing it a lot in the next few months. For this outfit I wanted to keep it simple so its been teamed with my velvet skirt from Weekday. Now Weekday are a brand you’ll definitely be seeing more of because they’re hot on my radar since opening a flagship in Regent Street (check my haul video here). I picked up this velvet skirt and a few other bits which are some of my most worn items of the moment.
If you’re liking the look of the denim jacket, heres a few for under £50 that I’m loving:
