The cardigan, oh how I’ve missed you. The added warmth of a jumper but giving more option to layer. The cosy, chunky knit that adds more to an outfit and keeps you warmer than London Underground in summer. (okay too far, not that warm).
I pretty much forgot that I owned this cardigan until my Grandma handed it back to me this week. Since then, I’ve barely taken it off. You know when you have that knitwear you just keep coming back to!? This is totally it. And it cost me under £20.
After a lot of Pinterest browsing, I decided to try a different kind of style and wrap my belt around the outside of my outfit. Its a style I never really thought to try before but I kind of love it. The length of the cardigan is perfect with this dress – a favourite Zara number of mine that likes to shrink in the wash. This cardigan basically just gives me a liiiiittle more piece of mind that my peach is covered.
The whole look is fairly Autumnal with the neutral colours and the cute barbers shop wall in its deep colouring. Funnily enough, we shot this look in May in South Africa but as it was their Autumn.. the fallen leaves were perfect. Nothing like planning ahead, right!?
Maybe I should browse Pinterest more because its definitely a great source of outfit inspo. I’ve got more style boards than I could begin to tell you about. To be honest, its where I usually go when I’m stuck for ideas with something.. or when I just want a little insight into the trends for the coming season.
And because editing this post made me want more cardigans, heres a little wishlist with some of my favourites on the high street right now..
