Have you ever put on an outfit and instantly felt confident? Finding your own style is great for making the most of your entire wardrobe, but its also a big confidence booster. I think as girls we tend to hide behind our clothing sometimes and dress to our mood - if I’m in a slump then you can bet my outfit is a jumper and jeans, whereas if I’m feeling confident then I’ll be rocking a more ‘put together’ affair. My favourite styles to wear are normally tailored but much more relaxed, or a trusty high waisted denim and always monochrome or neutral.
Those confident days are when I do most of my online shopping and Blue Vanilla is one of my current favourites. They've got a great range of clothing and the few pieces that I've recently got from there will be on my blog soon so you can see the quality and affordable price tags.
The pictures on this post showcase some of my favourite 'feel good' clothes and accessories, starting with my sunglasses. The Moschino frames show the designer quality without giving away that they're actually prescription! As for the other accessories, I've just shown you some of my lingerie in the form of bralets. I've got basically nothing in the boob department but I love it, so non padded bras are my thing and they're so pretty that I can never resist.
The first actual clothing item is a slouchy shirt from Topshop which looks incredible with a lack-o-boob. The neckline shows off chest without cleavage and the slouchy style looks effortlessly chic with any high waisted trousers - like the two pairs of jeans which hold my stomach in and show off my best asset: legs. The other two are easy, stripes are such a classic and they go with pretty much everything in my (plain) wardrobe so I'm guaranteed to make a cute outfit without trying too hard.
The moral of this post is basically wear what you like. If you're dressing in a way that you feel comfortable, you'll have so much confidence and feel happier throughout the day. Its strange to think that a piece of fabric can alter our mood and body confidence, but it totally can. What are your go-to clothes for confidence?
