KHAKI AND GREY.

Okay so I definitely wore this with some tights and a coat - but it wouldn't have looked half as cute on my blog like that would it? It seems to have warmed up slightly in England at the moment so going out without a huge scarf and chunky knit jumper are possible once more. I've neglected this khaki vest recently due to it becoming lost in my wardrobe but it seemed silly not to wear it in its prime season. The colour is so autumnal and the knit is warm but still lightweight - so its perfect for right now.

I've linked my latest video at the end of this post because I'm quite proud of it - mainly because I refrained from spending a fortune, but I also picked up some adorable pieces.

PRIMARK AW15.

Way back in the early Summer, I attended the Primark press day in London to see the Autumn/Winter collection for this year. The show space was gorgeous with the clothing displayed on the walls and shoes at the feet, beauty was in a separate room with light-up mirrors and everything was just very well presented. Annoyingly, I did accidentally delete all of my pictures from the press day except a couple, so I've included two from the Primark website!

Over the collection there is a presence of bohemian seventies style with lots of feature on lace, suede and faux fur - perfect for releasing your inner hippy! I especially liked all of the scarves and outerwear which will surely be added into my collection over the next month or so; a few feature in a Primark haul that I just uploaded to my channel below.

TARTE PRISMATIC RICH BROWNS PALETTE.

When the colder weather approaches there is nothing I love more than a grunge style make-up look. Dark eyes, dark lips and some blushed cheeks are what Autumn is all about! Back at Beautycon, Tarte gifted me this eyeshadow quad from their Prismatic eye colour enhancing range and it instantly screamed Autumn at me.

I've never tried Tarte before Beautycon because its so hard to get hold of in the UK but I am a big fan, especially because its all natural and not tested on animals. This palette consists of four shades for your different sections of the eyelid to easily achieve a smokey eye. I think its quite a good idea because it gives you the shade and tells you the part of your eye it is applied to. The quad is meant for brown eyes, but mine are mid-green and they emphasise the colour beautifully.

The colour payoff is great, they are so well pigmented being bright enough to be seen but subtle enough to not be 'too much' which is ideal as you could layer them up for an evening. I personally love using the base colours individually for a natural make-up look too. As far as lastability (is this a real word?) goes, I've found them to be good but I use an eyeshadow primer before and a setting spray after to give my eye look an extra hold.

After a little browse on the internet, I've found this quad available in QVC and also on Amazon for a similar price.

A TRIP TO OXFORD STREET.

Whilst out on a trip for some fabric with Hayley, we ended up on Oxford Street to do a little spot of shopping in Lush and Primark. The new Lush store is incredible so I took some pictures to share with you guys, if you haven't been yet.

I'm going to leave all of the talking to the vlog, let me know if you enjoy it because I'll film some more random days!

TOP OF THE FITNESS WEARABLES.

I'm still fairly new to the world of fitness, it took me until very recently to enjoy a workout and feel like I'm seeing benefits which is partially down to a lifestyle overhaul but mainly due to pushing myself more each session. I've even started a subscription to Womens Health magazine which is where I first saw light of the 'fitness tracker' world. I'm still curious as to know much a tiny device could know about my personal fitness levels - it hardly knows if I've just binged on a takeaway after a workout, does it?

Theres a wide range of fitness trackers on the market with some being more well known than others but all doing almost the same. I'm personally after the Fitbit Flex which monitors your fitness and sleep via a wristband and app, but the Garmin Vivo (which does virtually the same) also looks good for a similar price. There is also an Everlast tracker which is a fraction of the price and monitors fitness, although how well it works for a low price I am curious about.

I guess it all comes down to a brand you'd prefer, a price your willing to spend and whether or not you want to invest into the technology driven side to fitness.. but I know I'm certainly willing to give it a shot!

THE NAXOS DIARY.

To say that I wish I was back in the sunshine is an understatement, gloomy England just isn't doing it for me at the moment! Last weekend, I returned home from an 18 day holiday to the gorgeous greek island Naxos. Its a fairly unknown location despite the beautiful views and sits close to the infamous Mykonos and Santorini.

Over the duration of my holiday I did many things which are normally way out of my comfort zone such as snorkelling and driving jeeps up sheer-dropping mountains. I'm normally a 'lie by the pool/on the beach and don't move' kind of girl but I actually enjoyed this holiday much more. It was amazing to explore the beauty of another country and see how other people live rather than staying inside a resort.

The little town we visited was Agia Anna, a beautiful town along the sea with the most clear water you'll ever experience. Agia Anna is located within 15 minutes of Naxos Town via bus (which is under 2euro) and has everything you'll need. Our favourite place to eat and socialise was Ostria Bar, owned by a lovely sibling duo who kept us entertained and well looked after throughout our stay. The beach stretches along to Agios Prokopios in one direction and Malagas then Plaka in the other - each town is beautiful and worth adventuring into, especially Plaka if you enjoy pool bars.

I would definitely recommend looking into visiting the island if you're a regular greece tourist and went to get to know some other destinations. Next year I intend to go back and also visit some other local islands such as Paros, Mykonos and Santorini to name a few. The day trip boats are so afforable that it woulld be silly not to!

SUEDE SCALLOPING.

Firstly let me explain that these outfit snaps were taken pre-holiday, promise my tan is better than that...

Its finally Autumn time for my little blog! After spending eighteen days wearing nothing but bikinis and leg-baring outfits, the last week has been strange for me having to wrap up warm and cosy. Although I didn't want to let go of the season too quickly so my legs are out for a final farewell to my last summer of freedom.

These faux-suede shorts are from Luxemme and came as part of a co-ord set which costs only £35 for the set. I love the scalloped edge and easy styling options of the shorts and the crop is also adorable but that will be on my blog at a later date. I haven't really played with suede in outfits yet but the options are endless so I'm trying to incorporate the fabric more.

THE COPPER REVAMP.

COPPER GARDEN IS BACK

After what seems like the longest week of my life, my blog is back on the internet newly improved. While I was on holiday there was so much time for reflection and realising that I wasn't entirely happy with my content/layout and I just felt stuck in a blogging rut. I feel like despite blogging for a while, it wasn't really going in any direction and just staying pretty much the same. I started this blog intending to only post outfits and the odd beauty review but years are very long when you're young and interests change.

The first big thing that you will have noticed is the layout. I have tried to keep it simple but easy to see a few posts at once and see only posts of a certain kind (for example beauty) if you wish. I love when a blog is easy to browse and this is what I wanted to add to my own website, giving you the ease of looking through content without scrolling endlessly to the bottom. After this post, make sure you browse around and let me know your thoughts!

Another change is the tabs at the top. As I've grown into my twenties, my interests have changed. I am now a regular gym bunny, completely into my healthy eating and enjoying travelling. Of course I still adore fashion and the outfit/beauty side to my blog but I wanted to really inject my entire personality into Copper Garden, not just a small selection. There is little or no content in some of these tabs at the moment but I've got some posts lined up which I'm sure you will love.

The final change is my content. I am willingly improving my photography skills and finally learning how to use my Canon 600D so my pictures are as flawless as possible. We all know that blogging isn't quite what it used to be and photography is everything - how else do we show off products/clothes in the best light?

Obviously with beginning my third year of university, there may be less posts some weeks but the posts themselves will be much better to make up for that. I'm taking on a lot but my blog and youtube are like my babies and watching them grow makes me far too happy to ever stop.

WALKING ON WOOD.

Its finally time to start properly cracking open the boxes of Autumn clothing, despite whatever the weather is doing. I always feel like its a crime wearing summer clothes into September, like it some kind of unspoken law that shouldn't be broken. I've kept my options open by wearing my Primark £3 jelly shoes because they're too cute to banish into the shoe box just yet. By teaming them with this open knit vest and some skinny jeans, it brings them into season perfectly. I'm quite a fan of how this look came together.

ALL THE MUTED TONES.

slinky top // pretty little thing (here - on sale!)
khaki skirt // pretty little thing (here - on sale!)

I'm bringing in Autumn with the colours of this outfit, but keeping summer present with the styles. I'm not quite ready to accept that summer is over but part of me can't wait for snuggly jumpers and being able to get the candles burning and the fairy lights on from 5pm. Its safe to say I'm an Autumn kinda gal.

This outfit kind of screams Kardashian to me, with the slinky Kim K colours and the ease of the silhouette. The skirt is actually really flattering and gave the appearance that I'm much slimmer and more toned (working on this one). I think the colour is gorgeous and
