HOLIDAY SANDALS WISHLIST.

suede lace up // white toe strapped // thin strap gladiator // white platform wide strapped
birkenstocks // metallic sliders // pink slider with strap // cut out peep toe //

As my holiday is now quickly approaching, I've realised how little 'beach appropriate' footwear I own. If you saw my shoe collection you'd wonder how this is possible but for some reason I just don't own sandals, just every other style of shoe. This wishlist is the shoes which I've added to my virtual wishlist to purchase before my holiday. Each of the styles is fairly different but I wanted to keep them fairly monochromatic so that they go with my limited outfit choices while I'm away.

The favourites from all of the above are the suede lace up gladiator flats and the birkenstocks - both of which are classics and will last me through many more summers. I would say they are the easiest to style with an outfit, but realistically, they are all simple due to the colours and basic styles. The pink sliders (with heel strap) and snakeskin style sandals are the more outfit specific options. I could picture the pink ones with a cute summer dress or crochet with denim!

Is it bad that I'm definitely planning on fitting all of these into my suitcase?

THE PASTELS.

duster coat // boohoo (here)
textured playsuit // ax paris (here - on sale!)+
heels // primark (here)+

Did you ever imagine that you would see me looking so feminine? I feel like this is the kind of look that could easily work on holiday as well as in the UK, when the weather perks back up a little bit. The playsuit is a holiday purchase that I'm dying to get abroad to enjoy more (damn rain). The fit is really flattering and the textured fabric makes it look like more than just a plain playsuit - and think how cute it would look with a kimono on a beach?!

Its now under a month until my holiday and its officially acceptable to countdown. I have been scheduling all of my posts and videos so you guys are kept in the loop while I'm gone - hopefully when I'm back there will be tons of beachy looking, perfect outfit posts.

JACK WILLS LIP BALM TRIO.

Slightly chuckling to myself as this post has been sat un-written but photographed for a while, and now it seems like I am just promoting Jack Wills due to working there. I promise I'm not. I received these little lip balm tins in a gift set for Christmas and just hadn't gotten around to writing the post until now. Admittedly, I'm a sucker for a good bit of Carmex but these are my favourite alternative.

Jack Wills aren't known for their beauty products and only have a small collection, but they are worth checking out. My all time favourite is the Hope Cove collection but these lip balms are a close second. Each lip balm comes in a JW striped tin with a different colour lid. I think the packaging is really cute and the tins are about the same size as Vaseline so fit easily into handbags and the likes.

The gift set comes with three scents; mint, rose and berry. The scent is mild but noticeable on each and the product is easy to apply to your finger/lips and gives a fairly good amount. The consistency is fairly smooth and lightweight. I have found that they work as good as any other lip balm at refreshing my lips and keeping them feeling soft and smooth.

I would really recommend these however the sets aren't available except for Christmas time, but when they are back its worth investing in a few! Keep your eyes peeled as its almost that time of year again..

TAYLOR SWIFT/BAD BLOOD WITH THE IVER ACADEMY.

A fair while back, I visited The Iver Academy in London to get a mini Swifty makeover with some other vlogging babes and completely lost the images - so here they are months later. The Iver Academy is part of Greasepaint which is one of the best make-up artist schools in the UK with students often going on to work with well known television, film, theatre and even celebrities. When they asked me to go in for the day to get a little make-over, I had to say yes! I decided to get my make-up done like Taylor Swift in Bad Blood (as it had only just come out at the time).

My make-up artist was Emily who was the most lovely, chatty girl and we just chatted away while she did my hair and make-up (both of us singing bad blood over and over). The transformation took approximately two hours and I was so pleased with the outcome. I think that if I added more contrast to the image and a slight red tone, it would be so close to Taylor's look in the video.

If you'd like to consider studying at The Iver Academy, visit their website (here).
Thank you so much Iver Academy for having me!

THE TAILORED TROUSERS.

striped crop // primark (similar here)
belt // new look (here)
tailored trousers // missguided (here)
lace up boots // new look (here)

Since wearing this to the Lipsy loves Michelle Keegan event a couple of months back, its been a fairly staple outfit in my wardrobe. Admittedly, its taking a back seat with the recent heatwave but it will be perfect for the transition to Autumn! These trousers were brought in a Missguided sale and only cost me £8 which is so cheap considering how long they will last me and how versatile they are for different seasons.

I've dressed the trousers down for this look, teaming it with a striped crop (of course) and opting for some military style boot heels and a studded belt. I think the shoes alone make it much more casual and easy for everyday with the belt adding a little more.

THE SUEDE BOOTS.

fedora // asos (here)
'scarlet' lipstick // chanel (here)
mesh tshirt // ebay (here - only £1.80)
bodycon dress // missguided (here)
fringe bag // asos (here)
wide strap suede boots // next (here)+

eBay is one of the best places for affordable fashion like this mesh tshirt, costing only £1.80 which is an absolute bargain and the quality is quite good considering the low price too. I've worn it over a basic bodycon from Missguided here as it added a new layer and style to a fairly simple outfit. For accessories, I wanted to keep to the suede and fringing that I can't get enough of so used my gorgeous fringe bag and these incredibly comfortable suede strapped boots from Next.

I'm having a bit of a change in my direction recently, feeling like my content is slacking and I seem to have lost the ability to write properly. My words just come out as gibberish on the page and my blog just isn't how I want it to be so I'm working on change.

MISSGUIDED ACTIVE SPORTS BRA.

I'm one of those girls that visits the gym on a rare occasion but is forever buying gym clothes. This is a dilemma that I've been working on recently by trying to up my training - so its about time that I mentioned my favourite sports bra

As you have probably seen, Missguided launched their Active range about a year ago. All of the items are fairly low priced and perfect for girls who want to look on trend while working up a sweat. Their sports bras were the first thing that I trialled from the collection when I snapped this one up for only £6 (but its now only £4!)

Initially, I went for this because it goes with my Nike Free Runs which are the same turquoise. The website mentioned to buy a size down, so I brought a size 6. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect at first but I'm so impressed! The sports bra is neoprene at the front which is perfect for holding boobs in place and a sweat-proof back. I'm not even kidding when I tell you that I can run for ages and I can't even feel it! There has been many bras before where my boobs end up painful from the treadmill, but not this one!

Most of their collection is currently on sale or fairly low priced, so many sure you check it out! I'd really recommend their sports bras and I've just purchased some other bits so keep your eyes peeled for more!

WANT TO SHOP MY WARDROBE?

Over the last month or so, I have been clearing out my bedroom to move house and frantically saving for my holiday and third year of university. I've been going through my entire bedroom/life and sorting through all of my clothing, home and beauty that I no longer want, to sell to you guys!

Clothing
This could be anything but I do have a lot of clothing that I never wear. Most of it is branded and still has tags.
I often get various sizes so it could be a size 8-18 and shoes are always a size 5.

Beauty
All is unused or used once, various different products ranging from lipsticks, nail polishes to skincare.

Home
Occasionally, there will be a few home pieces as I always seem to buy far too much!

Feel free to make me offers on anything that you like on depop as I'm more than happy to consider reasonable prices but I don't swap. A lot of stuff still hasn't been listed but I am in the process of getting it up as quickly as possible.

If you'd like to see the full range of what I am selling, visit my eBay or depop stores!

THE PRETTY LITTLE WATERFALL COAT.

waterfall coat // pretty little thing (here)
boyfriend fit tee // jack wills (here)
skinny jeans // h+m (here)
bag // missguided (similar here)
boots // asos (here)

I know its slightly off season to be wearing a coat, but with all of the hit and miss we've been getting recently I decided it was time to bring out a lightweight jacket before the sun creeps back in. Yep, probably the only girl in the world who enjoys dressing up cosy in jumpers and coats! This particular beauty is only £28 at the moment in Pretty Little Thing which is a complete bargain. Its so flattering and surprisingly goes with a fair amount in my wardrobe which I'm loving! For this outfit I decided to keep it fairly muted with an all white combo and pastel bag - keeping the focus on my gorgeous coat.

LEMON TROUSERS.

fedora // asos (here)+
lace insert cami // h+m (similar here)
lemon print trousers // george at asda (here)+
sombrero boots // kurt geiger (here)+

Lemon printed trousers, something slightly different and a lot more flattering than I expected. As its Summer, the trousers needed to be worn in a way which wouldn't leave me roasting but would still look cute. This lace cami is fairly lightweight and cool enough to wear even in the hottest days of summer, so it was a must have. It only cost something like £7 in H+M and its so cute, the back detail is my favourite! I chose to add a fedora and these suede boots as an addition - accessories are key.

This look actually featured in a 'ways to style printed trousers' on my channel, if you wanted to see other ways to style these and other styles! I do regular lookbook videos on my YouTube!
