I don’t know if you’d previously noticed, but most of my shoes come from Shoeaholics. The website was shown to me by a friend before moving to uni, after I asked how she owned so many pairs of designer shoes (because I was secretly very jealous). Since this day, I’ve acquired over 20 pairs of Kurt Geiger, DKNY, Paul Green, UGG and other branded shoes from the website and rarely spent more than £49. My collection is probably worth a few thousand but only cost me a couple of hundred over time but I’m now so addicted to shoes that I’d be surprised if this number doesn’t continue to grow when I’m in full time work after university. I mean, what better way to spend your salary than on shoes to help you be a Girl Boss? However, recently this addiction has grown to become bags also thanks to their large collection!
This outfit is the first of a two-part campaign showing the ‘perfect match’ of bag and shoes. Carvela by Kurt Geiger is better known for the gorgeous footwear but they also have a lovely range of handbags. I chose this smaller size after realising that I don’t own a small enough bag for my trip to Paris later this week. In honesty, its become my everyday bag recently because I noticed that I was throwing items in my bag for the sake of it and didn’t actually need half of what I carted around everyday.
I chose to also go with some suede black boots for a smart-casual style, because chelsea boots will always be a style staple to me and they just go with everything. For the clothes, I loved these striped loose tailored trousers which were a bargain at £8 in Primark. I didn’t think I’d know how to style them but they seem to work with this look and help to show off the shoes a bit better too as they draw your eye downwards.
WHAT IM WEARING
*this post is not paid however the shoes and bag were kindly gifted to me by Shoeaholics but all thoughts are my own.
