You might have noticed that I’ve become quiet on the fitness front recently – completely down to not having the time. I know it isn’t an excuse but with deadline looming, I just can’t justify the time away from my work to do a workout. I almost feel guilty for leaving my work to do something that I enjoy. For this reason, it seemed fitting to share a few tips on how to workout when you’re busy..

YOUTUBE
There are absolutely tons of fitness related youtube channels with easy at-home workouts if you haven’t got time to hit the gym. I normally head over to Carly Rowena, Blogilates or just type in whatever I’m feeling, like ’30 minute cardio’ or a favourite is the ‘hiit victoria secrets’ workouts. The workouts are always simple to do at home, but I sometimes find it harder to keep my motivation because theres so many distractions.

EARLY HOURS
Yep, thats right – first thing in the morning when you could be sleeping. I went through a stage of going at 5:30am and it made me feel so much more energised and by 7am (my usual wake up time), I was bright eyed and ready to go. This can be a challenge if you’re up late the night before though, so make sure you get to bed by 11pm and drink a pre-workout before you go.

SHORTER SESSIONS
This is pretty much a last resort to me, fitting in a shorter session either early or late in the day just so I feel like I’ve done something. Normally I’ll just cut out some of the weights and half my cardio time – something is better than nothing.


WHAT IM WEARING

Originally, these were quite sports related images but I seem to have only chosen pictures of my face (nothing wrong with some self love). You might have noticed that I’ve become completely addicted to Pink Soda Sport recently, owning the top in this post in two colours. I love the fact that it comes attached to a sports bra so I can wear the pieces together or separatelyMyself and Char did a post on their past collection, showing more of what they have to offer.
