Valentines day is always a little on the back burner for myself and Josh, due to our anniversary being 5 days previous. We tend to celebrate them as a joint affair and rarely celebrate the actual day itself until this year. On 9th February, it was our 5 year anniversary which is a big milestone considering we got together at the age of 18. So for this reason, we’re doing something special and going to our favourite posh restaurant and spending some quality time just the two of us – because university and work can wait for one evening!
Of course it wouldn’t be Valentines Day without treating myself with some black lace lingerie. I’m much more of a ‘buy for me’ than ‘buy for him’ kinda gal so anything that screams Victoria Secrets is straight in my collection and making me feel 6ft something and perfectly toned (but this is definitely not the case). F+F have some beautiful new designs for the occasion with mainly black, red and pink colours and lots of lace. I chose this black lace number which coat only £14 and it feels and looks so much more expensive which is great for a student budget but a VS (in my head) lifestyle.
The watch in this post was recently gifted to me by Boutique Goldsmiths and falling in love. I was never a big watch lover until last year but this is a smarter and more grown up watch to see me through adult life quite nicely. Marc Jacobs are just timeless and so stunning. As with the perfume from Paco Robanne, normally I’m a fruity fragrance lover but Olympea is a sweet, more grown up scent that takes away from the fruit-overload of my previously loved gems.
Now, can I please just be a Victoria Secrets model with beautiful lingerie?
I work hard enough in the gym that I think I deserve it..
