IM A BLOGGER, NOT A WRITER.

I’m a blogger, not a writer. People automatically assume that someone who writes a blog is already a writer or aspiring to be one. If you’d asked me at the age of 10 then yes, being an author like Jacqueline Wilson was exactly what I wanted but its something that just isn’t in me because I can’t write.

I’m not ashamed to admit it because from reading my blog its quite clear to see that I just type what I’m thinking, writing exactly as I speak. Short, quick sentences with too much information at once but hey – I never claimed I was amazing at this.

Writing a blog to me is about expressing my passions and sharing my outfits, its not about turning Copper into an online magazine or creating a best selling novel. I enjoy rambling away on my little internet home and talking about things that I know and love. There might be a few bloggers out there that have an incredible way with words but it isn’t an essential part of having a website. If you’re not a writer but enjoy your blog, don’t fret. Life isn’t all about perfectly formed sentences and a lack of grammatical errors, its about always expressing who you are in whichever way you choose.

WHAT IM WEARING

I never thought I’d join the knitted flares trend because my short legs don’t look great with a wider cut, but they’ve grown on me. This pair was in the H&M sale for £5 over Christmas and for such a low price, there was no leaving them behind. I’ve found them simple to style with black or white and mainly oversized pieces, but in the summer with a plain white or black tee, they could work just as well. For this outfit, the flares are styled with an oversized (brought too big) roll neck from ASOS and my AllSaints leather jacket, for a dressed down look thats perfect for everyday.
