My reasoning for working with George at Asda for LFW was to shoot some street style. I was tasked with finding ‘everyday catwalk’ skirt styles that I loved for SS16 and the girls didn’t disappoint. We found all kinds of styles, prints and textures including a gorgeous nude lace maxi number which every photographer seemed to love. Theres actually a whole separate post for my street style snaps if you wanted to check that out.
You might have seen me popping up on the Daisy Dixon Instagram for a takeover, too. I styled up one of their gorgeous watches and snapped a few ‘fashion week worthy’ shots for their Instagram to show you my side of the LFW world. My watch of choice was the Adriana which has a black face and gold detailing – this and my other DD watch will be up on my blog soon in a separate post but it looks cute poking out here!
Firstly, how gorgeous is this trench coat? Its only £25 in Asda and perfect. I’ve been looking for a black trench coat for quite a while, so finding one that is good quality for a low price is perfect for my student budget. They also had a classic camel shade which is safe in my bookmarks for payday. I decided to team the trench with an oversized kimono top from Missguided and some black jeans. The size of the kimono adds a little depth to the outfit and helps to draw attention to my suede boots, which are Kurt Geiger (of course) from Shoeaholics.
