bell sleeve jumper

Due to desperately needing an outfit for Beautycon this weekend, online shopping has been a more than regular occurrence. ASOS has probably had over a million click-arounds from me in the last two days alone! For this reason, I thought it would be a cool idea to start a little monthly series on my blog, 'best of new in' - a post that features my favourite picks from the new styles at ASOS (and maybe sometimes even other places too). I feel like I've begun to properly discover my sense of style as of late - its exciting to watch my wardrobe morph and develop.

This time around its a muted, denim friendly, very seventies wishlist. I've actually just brought the denim pinafore dress, khaki d-ring joggers are next on the list. I love the ease of plain pieces that can be timeless, fashionable season after season. With the denim in this post, its definitely timeless, especially the a-line skirt which could look adorable no matter when.

I desperately want to dip my toes into the seventies trend before it disappears so I couldn't help but lust after some key pieces. The most 'on trend' is the suedette shorts; camel, beautiful and only £18 which is a steal. Following closely is the gorgeous crochet detailed tops. My all time favourite is the v neck crochet hem white number, but I also adore the bell sleeved jumper as I think both could be styled in so many different ways.

Of course, I threw in a bikini as its only 3 months until I go away and I'm dreaming of swimwear 24/7! This one is Monki and costs £22 for the set, featuring a gorgeous 'scribble' pattern. The high waisted bottoms are perfect too.

All of these pieces are under £35 and they have a 10% student discount too so its completely in my price range!
