I'm loving quirky, bold patterns at the moment which I think will last throughout this years warmer months. I've never really been a print person until this season so its a new venture for me and I can't wait to see what the stores have to offer as this season gets under way - I'm hoping there are some similar to these as well as some other quirky styles.

These lemon print trousers are £14 from George at Asda and they're my new favourites. I quite like that despite being a bold pattern, they can be styled up with pastels like this mint jumper or monochrome accessories. They come fairly high waisted so I'd happily wear them alone with a crop and some classic heels for a night out or styled down with a jumper, t-shirt or cami and some everyday boots/sandals. I am so pleased with how versatile they are and the low price as it means I can probably get another in the same style in an alternate print (they have adorable floral ones).

Initially, I planned to wear a lemon yellow tee with these but I was pleasantly surprised when my new mint green jumper went so well. This was in the Missguided sale for only £5 so it was instantly added to my basket - who could say no to an on trend bargain!?

The Stripes

Stripes are pretty much taking over my wardrobe at the minute and I seem to be really drawn to them, this tee in particular which costs only £10! Its a really nice lightweight fabric and the crossover/wrap front is so flattering and different to any others I've seen. Its styled fairly simply above but it would look amazing with other monochrome pieces or some brighter shades to bring it to life. I think my next task will be wearing some bright trousers or a skirt with it rather than sticking to my usual monochrome, maybe cobalt blue or a yellow.

The other items you've probably seen before except for the fur bags which feature in both outfits. They are from Kylie Jane which is a store I found on depop. The bags are all handmade and work simply to vamp up an outfit and give it a little sass. The shoes in this post go so well which I am pleased with as they are hard to style. They came from my 'years supply of shoeaholics' but its taken them two months to be taken outside!
