As Spring has now begun, I felt that it was only fitting to share with you the products that I have been loving so far. To me, Spring starts as soon as it hits Valentines Day so I’ve already fallen into step. Whenever Winter leaves us, it always makes me turn to the brightest shades possible after the dark shades have been present for so long. Don’t get me wrong, I love nothing more than a dark lip colour but I am also fond of pinks and corals so I couldn’t wait for them to fall back into the limelight for a while.
Initially, I have changed up almost my entire make-up bag which I might have to do an ‘updated’ video on. My new favourite mascara is Roller Lash by Benefit which has been taking over the blogging world recently due to its incredible lash curl and in my opinion it rivals ‘They’re Real’. I turn into such a hoarder when it comes to mascara, I seem to own pretty much every one that is available at drugstores across England! As well as this, I’ve also got another Benefit beauty in the form of Fine One One – a product I’ve loved for a long time but normally set it for hibernation in the winter months. This is pretty much a cream blush, highlight and bronzer in one. On the opposite end is my ‘holy grail’ concealer, Maybelline’s dream matte mousse (which is actually a foundation). I find that it covers blemishes nicely and the colour matches my skin tone perfectly. I have to admit, I’ve probably only tried a handful of concealers!
When it comes to lipstick, I decided to not mention more than one in this post as I will be filming a video of my favourites for the season. I thought it would only be fitting to show my all time favourite MAC shade which is Snob. This pink is by far the most complimentary to my skin tone that I’ve ever come across and its a must have to a collection.
The final two products are from Rodial, a brand that I’ve grown to love and favour in my make-up bag. The two things I wanted to mention for Spring are the cheek sculpt and illuminating powder. The cheek sculpt comes out fairly orange but it gives a nice, subtle glow and when used alongside the illuminating powder, it makes for easy contouring.
I want to also share my Spring scent which is Our Moment by One Direction (fittingly, its pink). This is the only celebrity perfume which I have tried and loved, costing only a small amount and available everywhere you could think of. I find the scent to be quite sweet and floral, while being long lasting so its perfect for days out in the sunshine.
So that is pretty much my top products of the moment when it comes to Spring beauty must haves but I am sure the list will grow as we make our way into the season. What are your favourite products for Spring?
