The rain is definitely not my friend when it comes to outdoors outfit pictures. In our house there isn't really enough space or the right lighting to do indoor pictures so the alley is really all we have - which is fine as thats what I used all summer at my grandparents anyway!
I am completely in love with this jacket at the moment. I picked it up from a local charity shop because I was freezing at uni and its perfect. Its originally from Laura Ashley so it would probably have been about £70-£90 new and its a size 12 hence the fit. Epsom's charity shops always have some good bits in them but they are quite expensive, this was a bargain at £6.50 but other items can be much more which doesn't justify not buying them brand new.
The boots I'm wearing in this post are current favourites of mine from palladium. I'd not heard of them until recently but their boots screamed out at me as soon as I checked the website. This pair are the Pampa sports cuff style which come in the colours; brown/olive (shown), raspberry red/brown, amber gold and black. They cost £79.00 which puts them in the same bracket as the likes of Timberland and Doc Martens - which I think they are a happy cross between. The pair I've got are so comfortable and have a soft lining so you don't even need socks. The brown is a lot more brown than on the website but I think it actually looks better! They're kind of my 'British traditional heritage' boots now. I have got my eyes on the pink blanc-hi boots and pallabrouse blue boots for future splurges though!
